The trio steps out into the square of Polis. A heavy crowd fills the street. They hear the sound of swords clanging together.

"What is it?" Lehka asks.

"It's a challenge that your daughter demanded." The doctor says.

"Where's Nia?"

The doctor pointed at the stage full of the clans' representives. "There. See?" He asks.

"My beautiful Nia. She's all grown up and queen of Azgeda. I'm so proud." Lehka says.

"Just give it a minute." The doctor says.

Lehka watches her daughter with pride. They can't see the fight that is going on between Heda Lexa and Nia's son, Roan.

As they near the end of the fight they watch as a spear pierces into Nia's stomach.

"No!!" Lehka yells attempting to run to her daughter.

The doctor points his sonic screwdriver at her and presses the button, teleporting them all back to the TARDIS.

"What? How did I get back here?" Lehka asks.

The doctor holds up his sonic screwdriver, "sonic screwdriver. I used it to teleport us back here."

"Why would you do that!? My daughter-"

"Is dead." The doctor says. He pauses then continues after a moment of silence. "But you can still save her."

"How?" Lehka asks, tears rolling down her face.

The doctor puts his hands on Abby's shoulders. "That's where Doctor Abby comes in. You see, she's the reason that challenge that led to Nia's death happened." The doctor steps away from Abby. "Well her people are the reason."

Lehka pulls a sword out from the sheath and slams Abby against the wall, her knife to Abby's throat. "Doctor. A little help."

"She's not going to kill you. If she does then it will all be for nothing." The doctor says.

"My daughter will be avenged. I will have justice." Lehka says.

"Your family line is dead. You have no one to go back to. What's the point?"

"My daughter..." Lehka trails off.

"Don't you tiny, little humans get it? You keep fighting...you keep killing? You will all die. It will be a blood bath. It was a blood bath. I was there, I should know." The doctor says.

"What?" Lehka and Abby asks at the same time.

"All thirteen clans. Dead. So much blood. So much death." The doctor says.

"No. You're lying. Azgeda is victorious!" Lehka says, stepping away from Abby, putting the sword back in the sheath.

"I tell you what. I bet I can change your mind, no I'm going to change your mind in five words. Just five." The doctor says.

"Do your worst doctor." Lehka says.

"I didn't lie about Nia."

Lehka's face falls. He didn't lie about Nia. He didn't lie about her family. He's been telling her the truth. Why would he lie now?

"So what now?" Lehka asks.

"Now? Well I suppose I take both of you home." The doctor says.

"Can I have one last look at my family's future?" Lehka asks.

"Of course. But make it quick." The doctor says.

"You did it." Abby says as Lehka walks out the doors. "You saved my future. My people's future."

"Well," the doctor says dragging out the 'l', "that's what I do. Save the human race, my speciality." The doctor says.

"Doctor I just want to say that I-"

Abby is interrupted by screams outside of the TARDIS. The two people look at each other and run out the door.

I just want to clear something up. Everyone in the Arkadia is dead (including Marcus)  with the change of the past, hopefully that changes...💙
