Abby puts the journal in her bag and places the bag down on the ground where the water won't touch it. She walks up to the blue box and places her hand on it. She rubs her hand on the surface. She reads the sign on the door:

PULL TO OPENAbby looks at the handle on the door and tries to pull open the door. It won't open. She tries again but she can't seem to open it.
"Oh that door. It always did seem to stick." A voice says.
Abby turns around quickly and looks at the man leaning against the rock wall.
"Who are you?" Abby asks.
"Should you be asking that question? I mean it would only make sense if I were to ask that question, considering you were the one breaking into my ship. Well attempting to anyway." The man says. Abby stands there shocked, unsure what to say or do. The man pushes himself off the rock wall and takes a couple steps forwards and puts his hand in his pockets. "Who are you then?" He asks.
"Abby. Abby Griffin. I'm from Arkadia." Abby says as she backs up until she hits the wooden box.
"Abby. Short for Abigail, I presume." He says.
"Yes." Abby says. When he doesn't say anything else, Abby speaks up, "who are you?"
"Oh of course, where are my manners? I'm the doctor." The man said.
"Doctor? Doctor who?" Abby asks.
"Exactly!" The doctor exclaims As he walks forward and shoves her out of the way of the door and pulls out a silver key. He unlocks the door and walks in, "well aren't you coming in then?" The doctor asks.
"What are you talking about?" Abby asks, "this old box can't fit more than one person comfortably!" Abby exclaims at him.
The doctor stuck his head out the door, "I will have you know that this is the most roomy spaceship in all the universes. Now come on!" The doctor says then sticks his head back in.
Abby sighs as she takes a step in the box. She stops when she looks around. She runs outside and runs around the blue box. She runs back in the blue box and looks again. Abby runs up to the Doctor who is messing with a console that is in the center of the room.
"How are you doing this?" Abby asks.
"Doing what?" The doctor says as he smiles.
"You're tricking me. Yeah this a magic trick." Abby says as she turns around to look at the room.
The doctor leans against the console, "there is no trickery I swear. Just me and the T.A.R.D.I.S."
"But it's smaller on the outside." Abby says but turns back around, "the what now?" Abby asks.
"The T.A.R.D.I.S." The doctor says.
"Alright. You know I should be going. I have to go...um...do...stuff." Abby says.
"Oh don't leave. You've only just got here." The doctor says.
"You're crazy and I need to go. Azgeda will be coming." Abby says.
"Azgeda?" The doctor says, chuckling, "please they're worthless they are."
"Worthless? They will destroy your little T.A.R...T.A.R...um..." The doctor looks at her as she struggles to pernounce the name of his spceship.
"The T.A.R.D.I.S?" He asks.
"Yes that. And seriously what is a T.A.R.D.I.S?" Abby asks.
"Well only the best ship in all the universes as I have told you." The doctor says.
"Ship?" Abby asks.
"Yes ship. You know as in spaceship. Time travel. Any of this ringing a bell?" The doctor asks.
"This ship can travel in time?" Abby asks.
"Well yes of course." The doctor says.
"I need a favor Mr. Doctor." Abby says.
"Me too. Never say Mr. Doctor again. Just the doctor." He says.
"I need you to take me back in time to save my people." Abby says.
"And why would I do that?" The doctor says, messing with a computer screen.
"Please. I need to save them." Abby says.
"Sorry no can do." The doctor says.
"What why not?"
"Please tell me what happens if I save your people. How many others will have to die in order for your few to be saved?" The doctor asks.
"I...I don't know." Abby says.
"That's what I thought." The doctor says then notices Abby's immediate sadness, "death is inevitable. Everyone has to die, even me, a time lord."
"A time lord?" Abby asks.
"Yes. That's me." The doctor says.
"What's a time lord?"
"Well...it's not a human." The doctor says chuckling.
"You're an alien." Abby says.
"Alien? Such a negative word. I prefer the term gallifreyan."
"Gallifreyan?" Abby asks totally confused.
"Oh yes sorry. I forget you humans are inferior." The doctor says.
"Inferior?"
"My home world. It was called Gallifrey. It was destroyed in a war a long time ago. I'm the only survivor."
"I'm sorry." Abby says.
"Me too." The doctor says, "so where should we go then?"
"What?"
"Oh come on! All of space and time! Where do you want to go?" The doctor asks.
Abby thinks, "how about London?"
"Hmm...London. Sure what year?" The doctor asks.
Abby shakes her head, thinking, "2005."
"Alrighty!" The doctor says as he pulls a lever. "To London we go!"
