Oh. My. God. 20 reads!!!!!

Quiet. Stay hidden. I know they could be watching at any time. "Break their spirits," that is what they told me. That is what he told me. I don't know why, but that is my mission. In my line of work, it's do what you're told or die. I prefer the first option. I don't do this for me, I do it for my family. If I leave, they die.

This mission isn't for them, this mission is one I'm doing for myself. I don't know why they want me to break their souls. I was just a normal girl. Sure, I'm definitely not average, none of us are. That's why we go to the school we do. Now, I'm rambling again. Back to my mission.

Slowly, I walk into the school. Hide in the shadows, I hear voices coming closer, closer, until finally  they passed. Odd, no one is supposed to be here at night except for the guards. As soon as they passed I left my hiding spot. I didn't know where I was going, I assumed I would go to the guard stations to look through the security footage.

When I got there, I figured I would pick the lock. But it was unlocked. Strange, something is wrong. I pulled my mask down, covering my face. Silence, I don't hear anyone.  Careful Ava, keep walking slowly, quietly. I pushed open the door and walked over to the computers.I pulled up the schools security footage from today. Searching through it I pulled off my mask and put on my glasses, so I could have a better view of the cameras.

I was shocked. The video showed Alli, from today, looking down at her hands. I must be crazy or were her hands just on fire. I replayed the video. Yes, those were bright orange and red flames dancing across her palms. "What are you doing here Ava?" It was him, I was caught. Isn't that perfect.

"Why wasn't I told about this," I replied trying to change the subject.

"It was none of your business. Now what are you doing here?"

"I don't answer to you. I only answer to the one it charge."

"Well he is my father, so if you don't tell me Emily dies." He doesn't mean this. No, something is definitely wrong. He always tried to protect Emily and I from his father.

"Y-You don't mean this," I said my voice cracking.

"Yes, I do,"his face was stone cold and emotionless.

"Are you okay. Jason..."
