"Wake up!" I jolted up and saw Ava standing over me, again. I looked around the cell to see, my friends out the door. Ava must have woken them up first. "I'm getting you guys out," Ava started, "they've maximized security since your first break out. You guys should take these." She handed each of us a handgun, "they have silencers, so no one will hear the shots. Follow me." The four of us sneaked down hallways, ducking into doorways and behind corners, to avoid people.
It worked for a while, then I heard a yell, "The prisoners have escaped!"
Ava turned to us, " I have to go now. I can't blow my cover." Ava ran through a doorway, leaving us alone.
"Let's go, before they find us," Sean grabbed my arm and pulled me through a doorway. I looked behind me, to see that Kyle was doing the same to Alli. We continued running. I heard loud footsteps behind us, getting closer, closer, louder, louder, until they were right behind us.
"We'll hold them off," it was Alli. She looked at Kyle, and they both nodded. Before I could protest, Sean pulled me by the hand, out into a different hallway. I sobbed while I ran. I could hear gunshots, from the alliance soldiers. If Alli and Kyle died, I would never be able to forgive myself.
We ducked into a hallway, only to run into two soldiers. One ran at Sean, and caught him be surprise, and was able to restrain Sean. I shot the tall, lanky, man that came after me. The other man, a tall, plump, guy, had Sean in a chokehold. He was able to croak one word, "RUN!"
I ran as fast as I could, dashing through corridors, hiding in closets. I quickly turned into a room. I stopped in my tracks. The room was completely dark. "Where do you think you are going, Jade?" I turned, to see the man that killed my parents.
