"BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!"

"SHUT UP ALARM CLOCK! Why do you have to be so annoying," I yelled. "Well now I'm up." I walked over to my desk and picked up my English book. I was up late last night cramming for the test today. I did normal morning stuff, blah, blah, blah  cornflakes, blah, blah, blah, looking for my glasses when they were on my head, blah, blah, blah.

"HONK!" Jade's here. I grab my backpack and run outside. I see Sean sitting in shotgun next to her, so I slide into the back. "Y'ello," I said.

"Is a color," Jade smiled back at me.

"Whatever. Hey Sean," he looked back at me from the front.

 "Hey, Alli. How ya doin'?"

"Pretty good actually."

"That's good." We sat in silence for the rest of the ride. Well, this is kinda awkward. Finally we pulled up to school. "Well, see you guys later," Sean left to go to his locker. Jade and I walked together, because our lockers were next to each other. It was how we met actually. That was a few years ago. 25-17-9-32, I opened my locker.

"Mean girls, 2-o'clock," Jade said not turning around. I looked at them walking toward us, out of the corner of my eye.

"Hey, freak show!" Jade and I turned around to look at them. The second bell rang, so we tried to walk to our classes, but they got in the way. "Where are you trying to go?"

Jade rolled her eyes, "Class. If you didn't notice, this is a school."

"Don't talk back to me." The girl slapped Jade across the face. Jade clenched her fists, she punched the girl. Jade could of hit harder. There was barely a red mark on the girls face. "Oh you little!" The girl made some kind of hand gesture to her friends. The started walking towards Jade. I got in between them, but one of the girls pinned me to the locker. I tried to struggle, but she was a cheerleader. In case you've never fought a cheerleader, they are freaking strong. They spend an hour practicing throwing and catching each other, and doing other various exercises.

I was helpless as I watched the other girls punch Jade over, and over. She tried to fight back, but in the end she fell to the ground. I closed my eyes, I couldn't watch. I suddenly dropped to the floor. I opened my eyes to see the girls running away. Sean was standing over me, "Good, you're okay." He picked up Jade and we ran to the nurse. She called an ambulance. Kyle came running towards us while we waited for the ambulance, "What happened?!!???!?"

"Yeah I was wondering that too," Sean said. I watched the paramedics load Jade into the ambulance. We followed into the back, and sat down, "I'll tell you when we get to the hospital." We waited in silence. Finally we got there. They rushed Jade into a room, so we sat in the waiting room. "So are you going to tell us what happened," Kyle asked. I told them the whole story, "And that's when you showed up, and saved our butts Sean." They looked at me in shock. Sean opened his mouth, but was interrupted by a doctor walking towards us.

"Are you three here for Jade McClain?" We nodded, "Well she is going to be ...
