I had told Alli to wait by the car, because I forgot my keys inside. I felt something press into my back. "Come with me or you die," a man whispered in my ear. I recognized the voice from somewhere. "Okay," I caught the eye of a waitress an mouthed, 'HELP' she turned quickly. I watch as she went outside and started talking to Alli. Meanwhile, the man was dragging me out the back door.
I was forced into a car, and a wet cloth was pressed to my face. Everything went black.
When I awoke, I was in a dark room, tied to a chair. A man was standing over me.
"What do you want with me?" I questioned. He laughed, "We want to make a deal."
"What kind of deal?"
"You join us, and you can leave your old life. Here you will be appreciated, here you can have a family."
"W-what do you mean?"
"We know a way to bring them back. I'll leave you to decide." He left. Could they actually bring them back. I my thoughts were interrupted by the door being shoved open. Ava was standing there two guns in her hands. "What are you doing here?" I asked.
"First, I work here. Second, rescuing you. Third, you'll need this," she untied the ropes and handed me one of the guns. "Follow me." She ran out and I followed. She brought me to her car and told me to get in. I did.
"Jade, I need you to promise me something," she sounded sincere.
"What is it?"
"Always carry that gun."
"Okay," we pulled up to the Friendly's parking lot were Alli and my car were waiting.
"Here are your keys, Jade." I took the keys and said as I was leaving the car, "Thanks, Ava." Now, how am I going to explain this to Alli.
