Edward's P.O.V

"Edward, staring at the folders will not make them open themselves," Bella said, placing the plates on the table. "Come and eat something."

I look away from the brown leather folders on my coffee table and at Bella, who leans over my dinning table with her hands on her waist and a look of disapproval on her face.

"You've been sitting there staring at them for the past thirty minutes," she comments and pulls a chair out. "Come on or your food will get cold."

I reluctantly get off my couch and walk to the table, glancing over my shoulder every once in a while, fearing they'll grow legs and walk away when I'm not looking. Bella has to practically drag me the rest of the way to the table when I'm near enough. She sits down beside me but she does not have a plate of white rice, fish and veggies.

"Are you not gonna eat?" I ask as I grab my fork.

"No, I already did. You have to eat, you've been sitting there staring at those folders long enough," she replies and fills a cup with lemonade.

I shake my head and lean my head against the palms of my hands. "I don't even have the appetite to eat."

"Then make appetite," she says and nudges the plate closer to me. I groan and shake my head again. "Edward, seriously?"

I look at her over my eyelashes and pout. "I'm sorry. I've been having those folders in my possession for the past two weeks and I still haven't gotten myself to open them. I've made excuses for myself. Too much work, too much school work, it's too soon, it's too late, I'll do it later, I can do it another time-"

"Okay, enough folder talk." Bella stands up and pushes me against my chair. I lean back and let her sit on my lap. She grabs my fork and offers me a bite of the freshly cooked fish that smells delicious. "Eat."

I wrap my lips around the fork and slowly chew on the juicy fish. Oh God, this is heaven. I've never eaten anything so good and that's counting that my mother is an excellent cook herself but this is just pure heaven. Bella notices my delight and grants me a wide smile before offering another bite. I take it with a wide smile on my face. Who would have thought I would enjoy having my girlfriend feed me so much?

"You know-" I swallow and take the next bite- "You and I have a lot of getting-to-know-each-other-bullshit to do."

Bella laughs and picks on the food. "I thought you were done with the whole getting-to-know-each-other-bullshit."

I nod and swallow. "Yes, but how much do I really know about you, huh? We've been going out for weeks and I barely know anything about you."

She smiles. "What do you want to know?"

"Absolutely everything," I say and kiss her cheek. "Where were you born?"

"Here in Fremont."

"Any pets?"

"I had a pet goldfish that died only weeks after it was given to me, let's just say that was my parents cue to never let an animal under my care." She offers me another bite that I gladly take.

"Any siblings?"

"Older brother, his name is Jake. He's in the military right now."

Shit, now I have to deal with an older brother and those are the overprotective ones. I know that because I'm a younger one and I know how it feels having a beautiful sister, I guess it would be very different if Alice was younger.

"Do you get along with him?"

She nods, giving me another bite.

"Hobby?"
