Saving Fairytail

~Chapter 1: Pain~

{Third p.o.v} 

After Natsu was possessed by the demon E.n.d, his mission was to defeat Zeref, taking out anyone who deterred him from his task.

Natsu had attacked Lucy, who had tried to stop Natsu's possession, had been given a large gash of three deep scratches on her right side.

E.n.d had also taken a whole wing off Natsu's Exceede, Happy.

Lucy was running, carrying a passed out happy to the guild members in the open Savannah.

The sky was a deep blood red which matched the color of her drenched shirt.

"Hey guys, help Happy!" she called out before reaching the pack of guild members out of breath.

"Lucy! Are you okay?" asked Gray, fear laced his voice.

"Don't worry about me, I'm great." Lucy says, still panting from the run.

She cupped her side to keep the others from seeing the amounce amount of blood seeping out, her face showing quite the opposite of being 'great'.

Lucy's blonde hair stuck to her face in the sweat caused by the run.
   
Wendy ran up and cupped happy into her arms, tears brimmed her bright brown eyes.

Charle saw Happy and covered her mouth in shock, and starts sobbing. A large cut down his back where his wing had once been was practically pouring blood.

"Holy crap!" exclaims Gray.

"What happened?" asked Erza in utter shock.

"I'll explain when he's awake!" Shouts Lucy.

Lucy flinched, the pain coming from her side was unbearable, she started to collapse from blood loss.

Gray and Erza put her arms over their shoulders quickly.

"Can someone help us out here?!" shouts gray.

Everyone is scared or shocked, frozen with fear. Nobody moved.

After a moment, The three Strauss siblings hesitantly walk up to Lucy and help lay her gently on the ground.
   
Lucy yelped as they set her down and the five around her look completely worried about the celestial wizard.

Charle walked over to happy and clasps his paw in hers.

"If you wake up I'll never be mean to you again." Charle pleaded.

Wendy was still using her healing spell on him but it would take longer because it was a severe injury.

The wing could be regrown, but it wouldn't happen immediately so happy would be left grounded for a while.

Happy's eyes fluttered open and he clenched Charle's paw lightly.
She looked at him with tears in her eyes slightly smiling.

"That's a lie." Happy chuckled.

Lucy pushed Gray and Ezra away and sat up.

"Hey happy." Lucy said smiling before crying out and clutching her side again. she was bleeding too much.

Then, they saw something circling above.

Happy looked for a second before he fell unconscious once again. charle squeaked and started crying once again.

It was Natsu, or rather, E.n.d.  He began to descend, landing softly on the ground.

"Well, it seems my prey isn't very fit to run at the moment" says E.n.d smirking deviously.
