Chapter 4: Strength

Then I felt something inside me try to take over.

{Natsu's Pov}

I felt my stomach lurch, my lungs burned, and my brain was being split in two.

"arrhhhhh!" I screamed, which caused more pain.

'if i-", another sharp pain went through my skull, just like when I normally think about things. (-_-"')

"I can hear your thoughts, even if you don't think anything useful" zeref laughed.

I felt my consciousness slipping away slowly. I felt as if I was fading from existence, like my very Soul, was Evaporating.

I weakly look over to Luce, checking that she's still here with me.

In the E.n.d that's what matters most... right?

I gaze at her, her eyes shadowed, but the tears that ran Down her face proved she had

dedication,

determination,

and a goal,

to defeat zeref and survive in the process.

Suddenly Lucy screams, but not a scream of pain, it was more of a battle cry.

The light around her glowed and its tendrils reached out to try to touch the sky.

I have to look away.

"Luce.... so..bright?" the end of the sentence more of a question than a statement.

Through my clenched eyelids I could see the light fading.

I opened my onyx eyes which quickly widened in shock.

All ten of her celestial spirits surrounded her. smirking.

They were so very proud of their celestial wizard.

she has done this once before, when her emotions were at max, when Loki, Leo, was about to fade into the abyss of darkness, known as death.

Lucy was strong.

Lucy is strong.

And, Lucy will be even stronger one day,

but,

for now,

we fight to protect our home,

our nakama,

our family!

{A.n. sorry, I know its kinda short but I wanted this one to be more of a detailed chapter and I wanted to leave it at a good spot so yea. Sorry its short!}
