Chapter 24: Spying

Yes, everyone will be proud of Lucy Heartfillia.

They all are already.

{Lucy's p.o.v}

I wiped the sweat from my temple.

This is a real workout!

Zeref is testing me on my celestial-make magic, then I can start my celestial requip magic.

I'm super excited!!!

Zeref did a high kick, aiming for my waist.

I covered my body with a celestial barrier and spun, adding the regulus impact spell to strengthen my Lucy kick.

He blocked the attack and summoned some black and purple shards which all headed towards me.

"Celestial make : starfall!"

Tons of golden lights attacked him, stars technically.

He blocked it with a black bubble.

The bubble then bursted sending a tar looking acid my way.

I jumped up, using my flexibility & agility, did a triple back flip.

While in midair, I used my magic to make a giant solid cluster of stars behind me.

I perfectly landed of the rock, then used it as a boost, I surged forward, making a wall of stars behind him and gave him a flying kick in the gut.

He fell backward onto the ground and looked up at me smiling.

I smiled back as I breathed heavily, trying to catch my breathe after that intense training session.

It's been an HOUR!

I sighed loudly and made the star rock being me again and flopped down onto it.

It was soft now and cradled me.

Stars are soft apparently.

Well, they actually only have the ability to be soft, depends on the magic ability you have.

Its a higher level thing.

I'm boosting my ego too much right now.

"Good job, we can move onto the requip magic now." he smiled

"Now!?" I groaned.

"well, if you wanna get home-" Zeref started

"Yes, now!" I interrupted.

He chuckled but then looked saddened.

"w-whats wrong?" I stutter, worried.

"Are you in such a hurry to leave?" he looked to the ground.

"No, I like your company, its just, I miss them. I don't want them to hurt because I'm gone. Not that I expect them to be, I'm weak, they are probably better without me."

I felt a tear slide down.

suddenly Zeref shook my shoulders strongly, making me look up at him.

"They care, believe me, I can show you, but only once. You have a job to do. you're doing this FOR them. You are strong, Never doubt yourself."

I looked at him shocked.

"I-I can see them?" I say getting excited.

"Yes and no, I have a spying portal, but you can't leave, once you leave this dimension there's no way you could come back."

"O-okay." I say disappointed.

"you're not going to like the current state of the guild though, are you sure you want to see them?"

"Yes." I say determinedly

What could be wrong?

A portal shows up, similar to the one we entered to come to this island except its more black magic, and less purple.

The guild pops up on the screen.

I stare in shock for a moment.

I started to sob uncontrollably.

{A.N. annnnd that concludes the spam of chapters after not posting for three weeks! I'm sorry! Its just, the fourth of July, my aunt AND moms birthday, and the lack of WiFi at home, I didn't really have any time to post!
