Chapter 7: Wounds

{third p.o.v.}

Happy groaned loudly as charle lifted him off ground softly as possible. she was practically cradling him in her arms. she lifted her exceede wings and flew behind a rock.

"This will have to do. ~sigh" charle speaks outloud.

she looks to Happy who looks like he's in a cocoon of bandages.

"fitting for you, you creature" she looked away trying to hide tears.

"owwww..... my everything hurts!" he groaned.

"good, maybe you won't be able to put your grubby paws on me!" this time she turned away..... to hide a.... blush!

"charle, your so mean~" happy said faking sadness.

At least they were barely able to joke around. it kept Happy awake. Charle didn't want to be alone. then she realized,

'I'm falling for this dumb tom cat!'

{wendy's p.o.v.} 

I immediately followed Erza's order. heal Lucy then natsu.

I kneeled down near her side.

"hah, you can't tell me to heal you after happy is, now I can!"

I sighed happy that I can finally help in this battle.

I see blood everywhere! uhm....let's see.... two stab wounds, those really deep side gashes, and billions of scrapes, bruises, and cuts.

"And you where fighting, without magic, and summoned all your golden gate keys?! sometimes your as stubborn as natsu!" I joked

"*cough* yeah, I know *cough* I got that from him." she says smiling.

I notice the blood splatter around her mouth with each light cough.

'is she getting weaker?! I hear wheezing. oh no!'

she must have a punctured lung and now its filling with blood. if I don't fix it fast she'll die.

'I must channel more magic!' I think

I take deep, slow breaths. I imagine all my strength surging into my hands. yes. now steady. yes! I did it!

I could feel power traveling quicker into my hands and out, into Lucy.

'I'm almost done then natsu. but I'm almost out of power. what if someone else gets badly injured?! I hope not!'

I then continue to stare out at the endless savannah and the blood red sky as I heal her.

{Gray's p.o.v.}

I'm surrounded by at least 20 mages. we've beat so many powerful people. I'm just surprised, it takes all of us to fight this one!

'ugh. I'll get you for hurting the only family I've got left.'

I took my battle stance with my arms on top of each other and hands spread.

"ice make: cannon!" I shot it at zeref who currently was using a shield that was black and purple, to block out everyone's attacks.

he vanquished it and took a stance that looks something like iced shell, I flinched at the thought of that spell.

he was encircled in black magic and about to release it.

I tightly shut my eyes....

I don't have time to make a shield.....

.....

.....

.....

silence

......

......

"gahhh!" I heard a girl scream

I opened my eyes

I saw someone fall unconscious next to me

"juvia!!!" I scream.
