Chapter 5: Electricity

Christian's P.O.V

It was about 10pm the same night when I heard something hit my window a few times. I look through the blinds and see Ethan with a few rocks in his hands. I open the window so he would notice me.

"What the hell are you doing?" I whisper yell at him.

"I wanted to see you." He said with a smile.

"Well we have a front door, you know" I said with a chuckle.

Ethan makes me happy. He makes me forget all of the bad things in my life.

"Will you please just come down." He begged.

I roll my eyes "Fine."

"Yay!" He said in a girly voice.

I change into a long sleeve shirt, so that Ethan won't see my cuts, then grab my phone and walk down the hallway. I was going to sneak passed my mom, but since she was passed out on the couch with wine spilt all over her I didn't have to.

I walk out the door and down the stairs to find Ethan waiting for me at the bottom.

"So where are we going?" I asked.

"You'll see." He said with a smirk.

After about 2 minutes of walking through the woods behind the apartment complex, Ethan got a little closer to me and grabbed my hand. Electricity shot through me because no boys has ever held my hand before (I know I'm 14 and I've never held a boys hand before, don't judge.).

After about 10 more minutes he stopped in front of me. "Ok, close your eyes." He said.

I obeyed with no questions asked. He then guided me to wherever we were going then once we stopped he said "Ok, now open."

When I did we were looking out on the whole city of Broken Arrow. The lights were beautiful. You could see everything.

"It's beautiful." I said gazing at the city.

"It is isn't it?" He said.

I then realized by looking in the corner of my eye that he was staring at me the whole time and not the city lights. I start blush like crazy.

"I could stay here for hours." I said in amusement.

"I could stay here for hours with you." He said still staring at me.

God what is this boy doing to me?! My cheeks were now tomatoes.

He then grabbed my hand again and started to hold it, rubbing circles on it with his thumb.

We just sat there and talked for about an hour. Nothing could go wrong.

At least that's what I thought.

He was running his hand along my arm giving me goosebumps, but I had completely forgot about my cuts, but it was too late. When he was running his hand up and down my arm it pulled up my sleeve, but before I pulled away he had already got a glimpse of the one of the cuts on my wrist closest to my hand.

"What was that?" He asked in a concerned voice.

"What was what?" I asked pretending like I didn't know what he was talking about.

"Christian, can I see your arm?" He asked staring me straight in the eyes.

"Stop. I'm not doing this." I said being upfront about it.

He then grabbed my arm without warning and rolled up my sleeve revealing all 5 fresh cuts from today.

I pulled away and surprisingly he let go as quick as possible.

"Why?" He asked, almost sounding like he wanted to cry.

"I can't do this right now, Ethan." I said with my head facing the opposite direction as him.

He then grabbed my arm again, but softly and pushed my sleeve back up. I wanted to pull away but before I did, he started kissing each cut softly.

"I'll make them go away" he said smiling but tears in his eyes.

I still couldn't look him straight in the eye because of all the guilt I was holding in.

"Christian," he said in a whisper.

I still wouldn't look up so he put his thumb on my chin pulling it up to make me look him straight in the eyes.

He didn't say anything and neither did I. We just stared into each other's eyes.

Then something I never expected happened.

He leaned in, and the next thing I knew, our lips were connected, and moving with a sync.

Electricity shot through my body. I never wanted it to end. My first kiss. It lasted about 10 seconds, but felt like a million.

When we pulled away we both couldn't help but smile.

Then it hit me. I just kissed the guy of my dreams. Ethan freaking Dolan.
