Chapter 9: Date

Christian's P.O.V

That night I was getting ready for my date with Ethan, until I heard the front door open. I walked down the hall and saw my brother Liam setting his stuff down.

"Liam!" I say running and giving him a hug.

"Hey baby sis." He said wrapping his arms around me.

"I thought you were gonna be gone with mom another month?" I asked.

"Yeah, but I figured there's no point in staying in a hotel room all day doing not while waiting for mom to come home at like 3 in the morning from her 'business meetings' aka hooking up with the guy next door." He said in with a sigh at the end.

"So where are you going all dressed up." He asked in a girly voice.

"Well, if you must know...I have a date." I said with confidence.

"Oh really?" He said with a chuckle.

"Well just make sure he knows I'm a 6'5" over protective brother waiting for him to break you so I can make him splatter all over the walls." He said in a stern which quickly turned into a perky smile "Have fun!" He said then walking down the hall into his room.

I rolled my eyes and giggled, then checked my phone to see what time it was. It was 5:56 so I grabbed my mini leather backpack and keys then headed towards the door. I opened the door revealing Ethan holding a rose and a nervous look on his face.

"Um, I was about to knock...Um, you look gorgeous." He said all nervous, but was really cute.

"Thank you. You don't look too bad yourself Dolan." I said with a smile.

He chuckled then grabbed my hand and guided me down the stairs and to his car in the parking lot. He opened the door for me and closed it (like a gentleman☺️😍). We drove for about 2 minutes then he grabbed my hand and started rubbing circles with his thumb on it. I felt butterflies in my stomach.

Once we arrived at the movies, he came around to my side of the car and opened it then grabbed my hand to help me out and closed it behind me(again like a gentleman☺️😍).

We ended up seeing a horror movie. It was "The Rings" which freaked me out and made me jump a few times which I was embarrassed of but the first time I did Ethan wrapped his arm around me letting me lay my head on his shoulder(A/N: cheesy ik ik but it's cute ok).

After the movie was over he drove me home and walked me to my door.

"I had really good time tonight, Chris." He said coming closer.

"Me too." I replied.

He started to get closer and lean in. Omg is this actually happening again. That's what I thought until the door swung open and Ethan's lips were just less than an inch away from mine.

"Hi, I'm Chris's 18 year old 6'5" bother, Liam, nice to meet you." My brother said with a big corny-ass smile on his face.

"Hello sir, I'm Ethan." Ethan said with confidence but his voice shaky.

"Liam can you just give us a minute." I asked kind of annoyed.

"Whatever." He said turning to head back inside but not before giving Ethan the im-watching-you-death glare.

"Sorry about him, he's just-" I start to say but was cut off by him smashing his lips to mine. Electricity shoots through me just like the first time we kissed, but this one was more passionate, and intense. It lasted about 15-30 seconds, but I couldn't because I got lost in the kiss.

When we broke apart with both our faces red.

"Goodnight." He said and smiled, then walked off to his apartment.

I walked back in side and ran to my room then jumped onto my bed.

"Oh...my...god" I said to myself then let out a small laugh.
