Chapter 2: Company

Ethan's P.O.V

I think Christians pretty nice, she seems pretty chill too. She was pretty quiet and shy, but that could probably just be because we just met, plus she's a fan and they are always either really outgoing or shy at first. I hope me and Gray don't make her uncomfortable, because I would really like to get to know her.

She's only 14 and I'm 17 so I can't like her, because one: it will be illegal in less than a year if we dated, two: she's my next door neighbor so it would be awkward if things didn't work out, and three: people would look at me as a pedophile.

She's seem really insecure, not that it's a bad thing, but I hope that she can open up to me so I can get to know her and we could be friends.

Grayson's P.O.V

Christian is pretty chill, and I really want to become good friends with her. Ethan seems like he likes her too, I just hope he doesn't like her a little more than he lets on, as in more than friends. I mean I know that even if he did get to know her and started to fall for her that he wouldn't be stupid enough to make a move.

If they started to date, things would get out of hand, meaning parents getting over protective and less than a year it would be illegal because we will be turning 18 and even she would only be turning 15. She would be a minor so cops could get involved.

Christian's P.O.V

I really hope that I'm not falling for the him because I know that I would just be disappointed because there is no way on Earth that he will like me back. I mean come on, I'm a 14 year old over weighted band geek for crying out loud.

The Next Morning

I wake up to the smell of bacon coming from down the hall. I sit up in bed realizing what had happened the day before. The Dolan Twins are my new neighbors. I'm never going to get use to the sound of that.

I slide out of bed and change out of my shorts into a pair of maroon skinny jeans and one of my brothers marching band shirts that he gave me. I walk across the hall to the bathroom and pull my hair out of the ponytail I had slept in and brushed it out then wore it in a half up half down hairstyle with my bangs hanging out of the front.

I walk back into my room and grab my black high top converse and slip them on. When I walk into the kitchen I get greeted by my mom making bacon, eggs, and pancakes. Then I realized I didn't even notice the twins were sitting on the couch in the living room next to us.

"Hey, Chris, Your mom invited us for breakfast." Ethan said.

"Hey, sounds good," I said then turning my mom "actually mom is it okay if I skip out on breakfast because I'm not really hungry and I wanna get a head start on my homework to get it over with." I said in a lower voice to where the twins couldn't make out what I was saying, not that I don't want them to not know but I didn't want them to think I was rude or anything.

I lied about not being hungry or the homework, I just feel really insecure for some reason when I eat in front of guys unless it family.

"Yeah, that's fine sweetheart, just remember that you have tutorin-" I cut her off my softly shh-ing her. "I'd rather not have people know I need a math tutor, mom" I whispered to her.

"Oh I'm sorry, I'll let you go do your thing, love you!" She said going back to making breakfast.

I walk down the hall and into room grabbing my book bag and my headphones and phone. I then walk back out crossing the living room and through the front door as my mom said "Are you going to the park?"

"Yeah, I figured it's pretty quiet and peaceful place to do homework." I replied.

"Ok, be safe, love you!" She said.

When I got there, no one was there so I had the whole place to myself. I start taking out my binder out of bag then putting my headphones in until there were two hands around my waist not letting me go no matter how much I tried to squirm away.
