"That girl didn't seem to happy to see me with you", I said with a nervous laugh.

"Well she doesn't like seeing me with anyone at all, no matter who it is. She's sorta my ex girlfriend. I didn't know she worked here I promise Jessica."

"It's fine", I said. It really is fine I just don't get why she looked so rude. I hate when girls do that.

The waiter came to the table and we ordered our food. Of course I got chicken tenders, because they are my favorite. Ryan got some kind of seafood pasta with shrimp. I'm enjoying this date.

He smiles at me and starts the conversation, " So Jess, how have you been?"

I said, "I have been good. What about you?"

"I have been thinking a lot about you. I've actually wanted to ask you on a date for a while, but I wasn't sure you'd say yes", Ryan's face got red as he said this.

I started blushing and then I started to laugh a little, "Maybe you should have asked me sooner, Taylor." I normally don't say this kind of stuff but it's Ryan! I can't help myself.

The waiter brought us our food and we started eating.

As the date went on, it was even better. I have to say that Ryan is a fun person to be around. I wouldn't mind do to do this a few more times.

We talk about our interests and hobbies. We talk about what sports we like and what sports we don't like.

RYAN'S POV

"I absolutely love football!! I can't get enough of Alabama!", I said.
Jessica looks so shocked and she half screams, "You have to be kidding me, I am a huge, HUGE, fan of Bama!!!" .

I have never met a girl who seems more excited than me over football, especially over Bama. She's better than I thought! I can't help but think how prefect she is and how much better we would be together.

We continue to drive and talk about our favorite games from Alabama and who our favorite players are (hers is Hurts).

We pull into her drive way and I'm kinda nervous. Should I ask her if she wants to go on a second date? Did she have fun? Do I kiss her or not? What the heck I'll just go for it I guess!

"I guess this is the part where I walk you to the door", I said with a laugh.
"I suppose so", she started blushing. She is so gorgeous. Every time I look at her I can't help but smile. I hold her hand and walk her to the door.

"Do you want to do this again sometime soon?", I said. I was really hoping she would say yes. That would be real embarrassing if she didn't. She looks at the ground and grins, "Yes. I would love to."

I decide not to rush things. I lean down and give her a gentle kiss on the cheek and hug her goodbye. "I just wanted to remind you that you look beautiful Jess! I'll text you later. Promise."

As I drove off I felt like I could bounce off of a thousand walls and still keep going. She is amazing. She is beautiful. She is --------- It was then I began to see red. Red was everywhere....
