Tim walked into the room, slamming the door. Aaliyah looked up at him as he walked by the room's living room. She went to speak to him but his glare cut her words shut. She looked down at her hands, needing something else to focus on besides the hurt and anger in his eyes. As he walked by, he stopped. He needed answers and refused to go another night in silence.

"Why not be real with me? Why not just tell me what was going!?"

"Tim, I -"

"A baby Liyah. Our baby! And I never got the chance to even-, I never got-"

As Tim tried to get it out, he choked out a cry. Before he could do anything, he bent over, holding his waist. He hit the ground and Liyah ran over to him. She pulled him into her arms, crying. He laid his head on her chest and cried harder.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

She looked into his eyes and saw just how much she had hurt him. She closed her eyes and held her head down.

"I was ashamed Tim. Everything that day had my mind in shambles. I was ready to give it all up for the baby. I was going to be a mother."

She laughed and slid away from him. For the longest, she had dealt with all of this alone. Kidada knew most it it, but she didn't know it all. She pulled her knees closer to her body and leaned forward. If she couldn't be real with her husband, then who? She decided to tell him the whole truth.

"I found out I was pregnant a week before the accident. I went to Dr, Jackson to be sure. 4 weeks. I was so happy. I called mommy and daddy and they were so excited. Daddy wanted to call and congratulate you. But I asked him to wait because I wanted to surprise you. Then Uncle Barry called. He wanted to meet and I figured it would be perfect timing to tell him that I wanted to take a break. When I told him, his eyes turned so cold. I looked my uncle in his eyes and it was like I didn't know him. He told me I had messed everything up by coming to him with this and if I didn't fix it, I would force him to. I just couldn't believe this was my uncle."

Her tears started falling faster so she just talked her way through.

"He sent my driver to get me later that day, saying her had booked my video shoot. He made it seem as though he was embracing my request for a break. So I went. I was in trying to leave you a message while on the plane when it started shaking. I remember my phone falling from my hands and Eric grabbing my hand to pray. Next thing I knew I was in the hospital."

She wiped her tears and looked at him. Tim was staring at her as his tears fell. He looked so hurt and confused that she closed her eyes and continued her story.

"When the nurse walked in, I knew. She didn't even have to tell me. The one thing that I've always wanted besides you was gone. My baby that we made, gone. Just like that."

She broke down then, lowering her head and crying. Tim scooted over and picked her up, laying her on his lap. He wrapped her up in his arms and laid his head on top of her head, rubbing her back.

"I'm sorry."

Hearing her apologize broke him. Hearing the full story and knowing how relentless Barry could be. Knowing how much she wanted to be a mother and to have it taken away from her so quickly. He took his finger and lifted her chin up.

"It's not you fault. And I'm sorry for making you pay for it all this time. I love you so much baby. I just wish you would have told me so that I could've been there for you."

Tim held her, wishing he could take away the pain. He knew then and there that they needed to resolve their issues to get back to how they used to be. He wanted his wife and best friend back and he was ready to do whatever it took to make it happen.
