Kaya pov:

I can do this.

I can do this.

Oh geez, I definitely can't do this!!

I stood right outside Lord Sil's room, chewing on my lip in nervousness. The dreaded moment had finally arrived and I had no idea on how to just get this over with. I knew I couldn't stand outside his door forever. He would be able to sense and perhaps even smell my presence so I had to go inside if I didn't want him to ask me what I was daydreaming about while standing outside his room.

I took a deep breath and lifted my hand to knock on the door. I hesitated but closed my eyes and tapped my knuckles on the door three times. I opened my eyes and waited for Lord Sil to give me permission to enter but much to my surprise, I didn't hear anything from inside.

I blinked dumbly, wondering if I had been called here too early and Lord Sil wasn't even in his room yet or if I had been summoned too late that Lord Sil was already asleep. I contemplated on whether to wait or just turn around and head back to the Art Hour. Honestly speaking, I would be happy to fulfill the latter.

I took a step back surprise when the door was opened and I came face to face with a Supreme I had never seen before. She was a few inches taller than me, had short silver hair and bright blue eyes. She looked similar to Lord Sil and I wondered who she was and what she was doing in his room.

"You must be Big Brother's Art! I was waiting to see you!" She said, giving me a smile.

I stared at her blankly for a moment. Big brother? Lord Sil was her big brother?? I guess that explains the resemblance but I had assumed that Lord Sil had only an elder brother. I didn't in the least expect to see any more siblings of his.

"Um....it's nice to meet you?"

My greeting came out more like a question because I wasn't sure about how I was supposed to greet a Supreme. Up until now, I had met with Lord Sil, Lord Leon, Consul Aiden and a few other Supremes who worked in the castle and I walked passed during my work shift. None of us had introduced ourselves and I would just give them bows as I passed them. I barely spoke to Lord Sil or Consul Aiden and I most definitely hadn't had a friendly introduction like this with any of them.

The Supreme in front of me chuckled with a shake of her head. He reached out with her hand, took a hold of my wrist and pulled me inside the room with a powerful tug. She closed the door and dragged me to the bed before letting go of my wrist. She sat down on the fluffy mattress and looked at me still smiling.

I felt awkward under her observing gaze so I averted my eyes to the carpet on the floor beside the bed.

"My name is Aldora and I am the third born of the Sterling Family. I am younger to Big Brother Silas by six years." She spoke, making me look at her.

I just gave a nod to show her that I had understood what she said.

"It seems what I heard about Big Brother's Art being pretty and unique is true. I was very curious to see you so Big Brother gave me permission to wait in his room, meet you and then leave him to rest for the night. So, what is your name and how old are you?"

I hesitated for a moment, wondering what I should do. Was it really okay for a Supreme to be so friendly with a human? More than that, what if she was just like Lord Leon? Was she trying to get close to me for hidden motives? Was it okay for me to be telling her about myself?

Though, I suppose I didn't have a choice here.

"My name is Kaya and I'm twenty one." I answered cautiously.
