I want to give special thanks to @IntrovertedWolf, @Rangami-chan and @DragonAdmiral for their help with the names for the protagonist of the story. I finally decided to go with the name Kaya because it means 'wise child', 'a resting place' as well as 'yew tree' that symbolizes eternity/longevity.
