Chapter 15

(Alex's POV)

In the back of my mind I could hear his disgusting voice along with many others, it felt like I was going to go insane with the amount of voices in my head telling me to look out. My eyes felt heavy as I didn't dream but I was hyper aware of the voices I tried to ignore them all but then I just get a migraine.I'm starting to feel very annoyed and I growl." Just wake up. I can feel your energy " I hear Lora's voice muffled by the others. I open my eyes to see that it's still was dark out. "What time is it" I growled out " whoa are you sure that your a full demon instead of a werewolf " " ugh! I'm full demon E-Lora!" I snapped at her she just sat there on her rock looking straight at me not having emotions on her face. " I hate it" she said at me my heart broke a little, me not knowing why. " I'm sorry that I hate it I've tried to make it better but I can't fix it. Her emotions flow into me, I don't even know what the hell was happening. " I know you have voices I've tried to make it better, I've seen the way you sleep with them and it hurt to know that you're in pain by them and I'm sorry that I hate it and I just want to know I can't make it better...."  she walked over to me and hugged me her body shaking " how?" I hug her back not really understanding how this situation went from zero to a hundred that fast. " I can feel their presence there Energy what ever you want to call it I can feel them all" I stayed quiet, not sure if I wanted to answer her "like I said I tried to make you feel better" " how did you try?" " I know it was creepy but when you slept I would run my magic through you to try to heal you but I couldn't do it that much because I think it's a mental wound and I'm too weak right now" she said partying away from our hug and holds my hand while sitting on knees. Her fingers were intertwined with mine," you were right that is creepy..." she looked down a light blush appeared on her cheeks. I laugh a little " but you tried to help.thank you,also you could have killed me you know." She looked at me with her smile brightly showing that she was happy with my answer and she jumped on me hugging me as I landed on the ground," ouch" I said as I hit my wings " sorry" Lora said  I nodded at her as she got off of me " can I look at them to make sure they're okay" " how do you know it's not my back" I said to her raising my eyebrow,she hit my arm " I have wings too and I know how they lay on your back because like I just said I... had wings too" she just looked down her long light brown hair covering her face as she looked down. " you still have your wings, Lora." I reminded her " Alex I don't need to be reminded when I have a painful reminder with me at all times " I stayed quiet not knowing what to say " just let me check them" Lora told me while pulling my back over to her she lifted my shirt a little " stop. You don't have taken off my shirt when I have an enchantment on it" she nods and backs up a little so she can watch with out getting hit by them. I extend my wings stretching them, it felt so good that I was able to finally stretch them my black wings looked even darker because of the sky. " I haven't flew in a while do you want  to try. " ha I don't have working wings Alex no let me see them" Lora told me I laugh a little at her determination to make sure that my wings were fine probably a thing because if my wings don't work there's a chance that if something happens I won't get Ally out alive. I soon feel her hands on my wings making me shiver as she ran her hand down my wings parting the feathers a bit,she ran her hand over a spot and pain flooded through me " fuck" I told her " I see... your wings are fine there just bruised and because they're your wings there way more sensitive to the pain" I turn to her. She smiled and I smiled back giving her a hug " thank you for the wing check. But my question still stands"  she pulled away but her arms were still around my neck. (Jolly ranchers) " I don't want to fall Alex " I looked at her as the wind softly blew through her hair making her look so innocent but inside she can be a big bitch and I have my anger problems. " it's okay but I know how much flying makes us feel free and we are trapped in this forest" I say trying to persuade her into flying with me or on me more or less. " ....fine " she said sounding unsure. I smiled and started to flap my wings as I held onto Lora's waist as I slowly lifted off the ground. she was shaking probably not trusting me all the way. She wrapped her legs around my waist and put her head in the crook of my neck. I gave out a little laugh as I want a higher and higher, so I stopped going up and just stayed still gliding a little to keep me up in the sky as the sun was rising." Look Lora " I told her as I nudged her head with mine. She looked over to the sun rise seeing all the pretty light overcoming the dark forest that we've been living in for the past few days " it's weird how we'll all have gotten so close to each other " she nodded and kept looking off to the sunrise.
