There was so many items on the shelves of the refrigerator to Ana's amazement. Bread, butter, bologna, milk, juice, eggs, shredded potatoes, bacon, cheese, peanut butter, jelly, onion, some steaks, fresh veggies. It was enough to last a few days anyway, maybe even more if they were careful. It was a miracle that they had an angel looking out for them. Ana was gonna thank him somehow, some day.

Excitedly, Ana grabbed for the eggs, bread, shredded potatoes, onions, bacon to make a quick meal for them. She set each item on the Formica boomerang countertop, then went threw each cabinet to find some pans. Christian groaned and Ana froze a moment till he went back to sleep and she continued looking for pans.

"A ha!" She finally found them and placed them on the stove and began making her meal.

Twenty minutes later, Ana had the food on the plates and expertly carried them over to the table, setting them down for each of them. She returned to the kitchen, grabbed the forks, and juice classes, and made her way back to the living room.

"Time to eat, Chase."

Christian moaned and his eyes fluttered open glancing up at her like she were his guardian angel. A smile spread over his handsome face as if he'd seen her bright, white wings, and halo over head. "Beautiful," he whispered.

Ana felt rush of heat in her cheeks with her embarrassment. "Let's get up." She wrapped her arms around, smelling his faint after shave as she helped him sit him. He was stiff and sore, gritting his teeth through the pain going through his body.

"What have you made? Christian's eyes focused on the plates of food.

"It was here and fresh. Can you believe it?"

Christian could feel her excitement brimming over and he found himself feeling the same way. It was her beautiful smile that made it infectious. He wanted to be the one to make her smile. It was his temptation to make her smile.

"The owner leaves it for stranded guest. Apparently there are a lot." Ana picked up the plate with the fork and placed in his lap.

"This looks good." Christian picked up his fork, stabbing it into the potatoes.

"Of course I will have to run to a Walmart." She picked up her plate and put it in her lap. "You're gonna need boxers and pants or you'll catch a cold. We can't have that."

"We need money for that," Christian said between bites.

"There's a coffee can full of money in the cabinet. We can either leave food or money and if we need it, borrow it. Or I could just swipe stuff." Ana bite off a piece of her bacon. "Jose taught me a thing or too."

The agent in Christian didn't like the sound of that. Why would Jose teach her things of that nature.

"I don't like the idea of stealing, but I also don't know how we'd pay the owner back either."

"I don't know, we need to figure something out."

The rest of the time they sat in silence as they ate. It was an awkward silence, it was comfortable. It was that they needed to speak, it was just having each next to each other, relying on each other that matter. Trust was what matter and they had it. They needed it for what was happening. Only they knew and understood what each other was going through in that moment.

When they were finished, Ana took their plates to the counter. She opened the cabinet and grabbed fifty bucks out of the coffee can, and return to Christian. Take as little as they needed, cause they weren't going to be able to put much back but would do her best.

"How are you feeling?" Ana asked as she placed her hand on his forehead checking the warm radiating from his bottom. It felt normal and she pulled the blanket back, checking under each dressing. They were a little red but other than that they looked better.
