The TARDIS is hardly shaking at all now, The New Doctor and Donna stroll around the console, watching everyone pilot the TARDIS.
"Rose" The Doctor said pointing to a button, I watch Jack pumping a lever.
My eyes land on Martha who's grinning excitedly. Then Sarah, she pushes a lever down slowly. Then Donna who's watching Jack.
"That's really good, Jack-I think you're the best" Donna says with a cheeky grin.
Everyone's laughing and chuckling except for me. Being the only piece that doesn't fit. I shouldn't be here, but I am. I am grateful to be here. The TARDIS has stopped. Earth seems to have been back in place. Watching everyone, they all whoop and cheer. Everyone hugs everyone they're absolutely ecstatic.
We've done it!
Watching Donna wrench Sarah Jane away from Jack and throwing her arms around him.
Jack, Jack, Jack you handsome boy. Jack walks over to me and wraps me in a hug, I smile into him. I knew without looking at him that, he was smiling too. We walk to the doors of the TARDIS, a tear falls down my cheek. I open the door to see the TARDIS had materialised in a park.
Jack goes into kiss me again, but The Doctor wrenches him away from me again, pulling out his sonic screwdriver. A solid grip on his wrist.
"I told you, no teleport-And Martha, get rid of that Osterhagen thing, eh ? Save the world one more time" The Doctor said a faint smile. I looked at Jack, his eyes sad.
"Consider it done" Martha smiles.
"Athena quick question" Jacked asked, looking at me his eyes still sad.
"Yes Jack ?" I answer, lacing my hands in his.
"What do we do now ?" He asked, holding my hands in his.
"I don't know but whatever it is I'm glad it's with you" I smiled, looking at him.
"Athena," He said placing a kiss on my knuckles, a sad smile on his face "My little temptress...Go with him" He said, his eyes looking behind me. Looking over my shoulder to see The Doctor who held out his hand for me to take.
"W-What do you mean ?" I asked him, almost on the verge of tears
"Go with him...see the stars find out more about yourself about the world...and-" He said, a tear rolled down his cheek. I'd never seen him so emotional before.
"And find love..." I sighed looking at him, he cupped my face.
"Yeah..." He said, I looked at him my eyes begging for him to stop.
"Come with me" I pleaded, he looked at me happily but it was only replaced with sadness.
"You're a free spirit and I have to let you go" He said, but only more tears began to fall down my cheeks.
"B-But Jack" I said, he placed a kiss on my forehead "I-"
"Just go" Jack said, he let go of my hands. I walked to The Doctor and took his hand stepping inside the TARDIS.
"Goodbye Jack" I said, letting the tears flow. He placed his hand on his lips blowing a kiss to me.
"Goodbye Athena" He said, I caught the kiss holding it to my chest. These were the last words I heard as the TARDIS doors shut. I brought the heel of my hand to my eyes, to wipe away my tears.
The Doctor goes to the console. I stand at the console with him
"There's time for one last trip-Dårlig Ulv Stranden" The Doctor said, The New Doctor looked at him "Better known as..."
"Bad Wolf Bay" I finish, sitting on the stairs staring at the door.
The TARDIS materialises.
"Could you wait in here ?" The Doctor asks me privately, I nod. I know what's going to happen now.
They all exit the TARDIS.
I sit on the seat, feet drawn up.
Alone.
Alone with my thoughts and memories.
Finally I relalise what I was dreaming about. There was a girl. Wendy ? Wanda ? Willow ? Something with a 'W' but we were friends and The Doctor he...he saved me but I burned up...
The doors open and then Donna and The Doctor are the only ones to enter the TARDIS.
Wiping away the fresh tears that have fallen, I stay where I am. I don't want to be part of this.
Donna adjusts the monitor, pottering around the controls.
"I thought we could try the planet Felspoon...just 'cos-What a good name, 'Felspoon'-Apparently it's got mountains that sway in the breeze-Mountains that move-Can you imagine ?" Donna says smoothly.
"And how do you know that ?" The Doctor asked quietly, I stay still. My arms wrapped around my knees.
"Because it's in your head! And if it's in your head, it's in mine" Donna said excitedly, I looked at him over my shoulder. He looked at me, we both knew what this meant.
"And how does that feel ?" I asked quietly. She didn't look at me, still fidling with the console.
"Brilliant! Fantastic! Molto bene! Great bit of universe packed into my brain-You know you could fix that chameleon circuit if you just try and hotbind in the fragment links and superseding the binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary--" She says quickly, taking in deep breaths. Holding her head before holding the console "I'm fine!" She laughs nervously.
The Doctor straightens, brow furrowed.
"Nah, never-mind Felspoon-You know who I'd like to meet ? Charlie Chaplin-I've heard he's great, Charlie Chaplin-Shall we do that ? Shall we go and see Charlie Chaplin ?" She says heartily, she picking up the phone speaking into it "Shall we ? Charlie Chaplin ? Charlie Chester,Charlie Brown...No,he's fiction, friction, fiction,fixen, mixen, rixten, brixton--" She gasps for air. I take back my position. Turning away from them.
"Donna...oh Donna" I said under my breath. The Doctor goes over to her. His footsteps, quiet.
"Oh, my God" Donna sighs.
"Do you know what's happening ?" I urged. Not wanting to see the disappointment that would come.
"Yeah" She said unwillingly.
"There's never been a Human-Time Lord metacrisis before now" The Doctor said softly.
"And do you know why ?" I asked, still not moving.
"Because there can't be," Donna said quietly "I want to stay" She whispers.
"Look at me," The Doctor says softly"Donna, look at me"
"I was gonna be with you...forever" She chokes. I sink my head further down, staring straight ahead of me at the TARDIS walls.
"I know" The Doctor said quietly.
"The rest of my life...travelling...in the TARDIS...the Doctor-Donna," She pauses and then it dawns onto her what it means "No-Oh, my God...I can't go back-Don't make me go back, Doctor...please...please, don't make me go back" She begs, I cover my ears. I don't want to listen to another heart break.
"Donna-Oh, Donna Noble-I am so, so sorry," He says, slowly "But we had the best of times-The best," The Doctor then begins to whisper "Goodbye" Donna's breaths became more frantic.
"No-No, please! Please! No, NO! No!" She says frantically "NO!" She screams but her breaths became slow and she faints.
I stand, turning to see The Doctor cradling Donna in his arms.
"We have to get her home" He said slowly "Now!" He said, I took his place. He made his way over to the console, solem.
"Oh Donna..." I said, pulling her into a hug.
Donna. Poor Donna.
