Travelling with The Doctor was amazing!
Finding another Doctor with a TARDIS well sort of...
Mars! In the future! But that didn't go as planned seeing Ood sigma. Not very nice
And the End of Time itself...The Master returned but...
Even after all of this it's been great but we've had to make a few pit stops. One that made my heart break all over again.

I sit at the back of the bar, I could see the back of his head.
Jack Harkness' head. My heart ached, I missed him so much.
His blue eyes. Dazzling smile. Flirtatious remarks. And yet he too was sad.
The Doctor gives me the signal from across the room, I look at the empty seat next to him and almost jump into it.
"From the man over there" The Barman said, Jack looks up seeing The Doctor.
He opens the paper, I read it out of the corner of my eye:
'Look to your left you'll see an old friend...look to your right you'll see Alonzo'
Jack let out a small laugh and looked to his left, I lifted my head looking at him in the eye.
"Hey honey," I said almost breathless "How long have I been gone for ?" I asked, he placed a hand on his knee.
"A year" He said, he looked back at his glass taking a swig.
"Hey Jack" I said a devilish grin on my face.
"Yes Athena ?" He said spinning his chair back to face me "What have you possibly got that could-"
"A room key" I said holding it by the loop, he looked at me.
"That'll do nicely" He said taking my hand, I yanked him out of his chair and into the room I had required.

Another year had passed. Jack and I have both moved on.
That is to say we still don't flirt and have the odd peck here and there but he had someone now.
Someone he could rely on. Me.
Well not really me, it was a clone of me much like when The Doctor grew from a hand. I did the same. So that he could stop waiting.
I was happy being single but I was happier being with The Doctor, but the thought of asking him a question I have't yet asked was impossible. Unless.
"Doctor ?" I asked, walking over to him from the railings.
"Yes Athena ?" He replied, he looked at me from the other side of the column.
"Would you ever kiss me ?" I asked walking around, his gaze seemed to be locked onto something on the monitor.
"Well...I um...oh can't, answer need to see someone be back in a mo!" He said, I looked at his face. He ran away his cheeks a bright shade of crimson.
"Silly Doctor," I said, I lent back on the chair putting my feet onto the console, now there's an idea "Hey TARDIS," I said getting my feet off the console "command interface" I said with a grin.
"I am the command line interface and have chosen a form that will please you most" I looked at the command interface and it wasn't who I expected it to be. It wasn't Jack.
It was The Doctor
"Hey cheeky" I said to the hologram.
"Hello" The 'Doctor' said back "What do you want to know ?"
"Do you want to kiss me ?" I asked.
"I cannot express feelings I am a command line interface" The hologram said plainly.
"Fair play," I remarked "Alright then I guess we'll have to do this the hard way" I said leaning against the railings, my arms over my chest. The hologram just stood there. I thought for a moment then, it hit me.
"Command Line Interface ?" I asked standing up.
"Yes Athena" The 'Doctor' replied.
I knew that the Doctor talks to the TARDIS all the time, therefore he must say things that only the TARDIS knows.
"What does The Doctor say about me when I'm sleeping ?" I asked, it looked at me confused.
"The Doctor has expressed feelings of..." The Interface began, but then paused.
"Of ?" I urged "Of what ? Come on TARDIS tell me!" I said. It went off with a sharp snap.
The Doctor came bursting through the door.
"Doctor ?!" I said rushing over to him, he gripped the railings "What is it ?!" I asked helping him to his feet.
"No!" He said pushing me away "Get back!" I looked at him confused, he started to glow orange.
"No! But you can't! Not yet!" I said almost crying, he looked at his hands then looked at me throwing his head back.
"I don't want to go" He says finally.
Dropping to my knees. I cover my eyes from the orange light, shielding myself from the energy the TARDIS bursts into loads of little fires...
Now it's over...
He's regenerated...
"Legs-I've still got legs-Good-Arms-Hands-Ooo, fingers-Lots of fingers-Ears, yes-Eyes, two-Nose, I've had worse-Chin, blimey-Hair-I'm a girl! No-No-I'm not a girl-And still not ginger" He said looking at his long bangs. I let out a small chuckle as he looked over at me "What else is missing ? Something else-Something important-I'm, I'm, I'm-" His train of thought was cut off with a bang, I fell against the railing with him ontop of me. "Ha! Crashing!" He said pushing himself up, he looks over at me "You're gonna wanna hold on Athena! It's going to be a bumpy ride!" He said pushing some levers and buttons on the console "Ha, ha! Whoo hoo hoo! Ah! Geronimo!" He said his voice filled with excitement
What are we going to get ourselves into now ?
I held onto the railings for dear life. My Doctor was gone.
