Familiar Girl came back with the tea, in a travel mug so I could hold the cup as long as possible. Who knows long it will be before Policewoman un-cuffs us.After Familiar Girl handed me my tea she at on the floor next to The Doctor and looked up at Policewoman.
"Sarge, it's me again. Hurry it up. This guy knows something about Amelia Pond" Policewoman said speaking into her radio.
"I-We need to speak to whoever lives in this house right now" The Doctor said hurridley, I took a swig of my tea.
"We live here" Policewoman said gesturing towards herself and Familair Girl.
"But you're the police" The Doctor said. I rested my handcuffed hand on my head shaking it, letting out a quiet sigh.
"Yes, and this is where we live. Have you got a problem with that ?" Policewoman answered sassily.
"How many rooms ?" I asked, cutting into the conversation between Policewoman and The Doctor.
"I'm sorry, what ?" Policewoman asked, her eyebrows laced together.
"Why do you care how many rooms are on this floor ?" Familiar Girl said with a slight laugh.
"On this floor. How many rooms on this floor ? Count them for me now" The Doctor said cautiously following on to what I was saying.
"Why ?" Familiar Girl asked looking at us both.
"Because it will change your life" I replied, Policewoman rolled her eyes but followed The Doctor's instructions.
"Five. One, two, three, four, five" She said pointing to each of the doors quickly and turing back to us, Familiar Girl scoffed slightly into her tea.
"Six" The Doctor and I said in unison.
"Six ?" They both replied confused, Familair Girl stood up next to Policewoman.
"Look" The Doctor said cautiously again.
"Look where ?" Policewoman asked exasperated.
"Exactly where you don't want to look. Where you never want to look" The Doctor said.
"The corner of your eye. Look behind you" I said, finishing his train of thought.
"That's, that is not possible" Policewoman said disbelievingly.
"How's that possible ?" Familair Girl asked, finsihing her tea and holding the cup in her hand carefully.
"There's a perception filter all round the door. Sensed it the last time we was here. Should've seen it" The Doctor said, I nodded in agreement.
"But that's a whole room. That's a whole room we've never even noticed" Policewoman said, Familair Girl nodded in agreement. She took my travel mug from me and went downstairs, most obviously, to wash up the tea cups.
"The filter stops you noticing. Something came a while ago to hide. It's still hiding, and you need to uncuff us now" I said, Policewoman shrugged her shoulders turning around slowly.
"I don't have the key. I lost it." Policewoman said, walking towards the door.
"How can you have lost it ? Stay away from that door! Do not touch that door! Listen to me, do not open that," The Doctor said sternly, Policewoman still advanced slowly towards the door "Why does no-one ever listen to me ? Do I just have a face that nobody listens to ?" The Doctor said, looking towards me. I shrugged my shoulders in reply.
"My screwdriver, where is it ?" The Doctor asked, Policewoman walked into the room the door closing behind here "Silver thing, blue at the end. Where did it go ?" The Doctor asked again.
"There's nothing here" Policewoman replied, her voice muffled through the door.
"Whatever's there stopped you seeing the room" I called, The Doctor continued.
No reply.
"What makes you think you could see it ?" The Doctor called out to her "Now please, just get out"
No reply.
"Silver, blue at the end ?" Policewoman called out, I let out a sigh of relief glad that she had replied.
"My screwdriver, yeah" The Doctor answered casually.
"It's here" She replied.
"Must have rolled under the door" I called out.
"Yeah. Must have. And then it must have jumped up on the table" She replied, The Doctor and I shared a worried look.
"Get out of there" I called.
No reply
"Get out of there! Get out!" The Doctor, almost screamed.
"Get out of there!" I shouted, hoping that she'd heard us at least once.
"What is it ? What are you doing ?" The Doctor questioned, the corridor still quiet.
"There's nothing here, but..." Policewoman trailed off.
"Corner of your eye" I called to her.
"What is it ?" Policewoman asked, her tone full of worried.
"Don't try to see it. If it knows you've seen it-" The Doctor began but, I cut him off.
"It will kill you. Don't look at it. Do not look" I stated trying not to worry her, feeling the hairs at the back of my neck stand up, a scream erupted from the room.
"Get out!" The Doctor shouted, Policewoman ran out with the screwdriver in her hand her expression stuck in a state of fear. Crouching down beside us. Familiar Girl ran up the stairs.
"What's going on ?!" She said from the stairs, looking at Policewoman her expression concerned and slightly scared.
"Give me that" The Doctor said, grasping it in his hand using the Sonic Screwdriver to try unlock the handcuffs.
"Oh what the eff!?" Familiar Girl exclaimed.
"Trust me, that's not the most bizarre thing you'll see today" I said towards, Famailiar Girl.
