The Other Doctor (10th Doctor) {Book 1}

"Ready!" The New Doctor said, passing me the device to hold onto. 

"Maximum power!" I said with enthusiasm. The New Doctor kicks a lever with his foot and pulls on another making the TARDIS tilt sideways. The TARDIS comes to a stop, I grab the device in my hand. The New Doctor and I give each other a nod, I look back at Donna.

"Take care Donna! Lovely knowing you!" I said, Donna gave me a smile. It wasn't a happy smile. It was a sad.

The New Doctor and I look at each other, I held out my hand. The New Doctor grabs it, with a wink. We sprint out hand in hand. It seems everything's gone in slow motion.

"Don't!" The Original Doctor said in panic. It's too late one of the Daleks, part human... maybe... part Dalek shoots something at us individually making us fall to the floor, the device slipping from The New Doctor's hand. Winded, I try to get up.

"Activate holding cell" The Half Dalek said, a beam of light surrounds The New Doctor and I separately. I get up and touch the light.

"Electrical energy holding cells very original," I said, Rose gave me a smile along with Jack. A look of relief on his face "Hi honey!" I sigh, my heart swelling. Jack holding a goofy smile on his face.

"Doctor!" Donna said running from the TARDIS picking up the device "I've got it! But I don't know what to do!" She said and the same Dalek that shot me. The Dalek shot Donna sending her flying backwards.

"No!" I screamed hoping that was convincing.

"Donna!" The Doctor shouted. The Half Dalek grins, she falls further almost hitting the opposite end of the wall.

"Donna! Are you all right, Donna ?!" The New Doctor said, Rose is absolutely stunned.

"Destroy the weapon!" The Half Dalek said.

"Um...excuse me but I don't know who you are could you possibly tell me your name ?" I asked, The New Doctor looked at me a grin on his face, a normal Dalek fires at the device causing it to give a small puff of smoke.

"I was wrong about your warriors, Doctor-They are pathetic" The Half Dalek said.

"Who are you calling pathetic tin-man!" I retorted, crossing my arms over my chest. Earning one of Jack's serious looks, I just shrugged my shoulders in repsonse.

"How comes there're two of you ?!" Rose asked The Doctor.

"Human biological metacrisis-Never mind that, now we've got no way of stopping the Reality Bomb" The Original Doctor replied, looking at all of us an idea sparking behind his eyes.

"Stand witness, Time Lord-Stand witness, Humans" The Half Dalek said, activating a holographic screen displaying 27 planets. 

I look over to The Doctor. He didn't know that I was a Time Lord ? Yes he didn't know that I was Time Lord as well, before the kiss. Or did he ?

"Your strategies have failed, your weapons are useless, and...oh-the end of the universe is come" The Half Dalek mocked. Everyone stares at the screen everyone starts breathing heavily, everyone helpless not knowing what to do.

"Nine...eight...seven...six..." One of the Daleks counted down. I look behind me to see Donna's well manicured hand reaching over the console. Smart, smart Doctor "Five...four...three...two... one..." The bomb then powers down and the screen goes dead.

An alarm sounds. Daleks, the rest of the humans and The Doctor all look around in confusion. Except me.

"Oh...closing all Z-Neutrino relay loops using an internalised synchronous back-feed reversal loop!" Donna says with confidence. It suits her very well. She flicks a switch "That button there!"

"Donna, you can't even change a plug!" The Doctor says slightly beamused.

"Do you wanna bet, Time Boy ?" Donna grins.

"You will suffer for this" The Half Dalek angers. Donna cocks her head to the side, flicking a switch and electrocuting The Half Dalek's arm and he shrieks.

"Oh...! Bioelectric dampening field with a retrogressive arc inversion" Donna smiles. 

"Exterminate her!" The Half Dalek said.

"Exterminate! Exterminate!" A Dalek said moving towards her. She presses a few buttons "Exterminate! Exterminate!" The Daleks power down and their guns twitch "Weapons non-functional!"

"What ? Macrotransmission of a K-filter wavelength blocking Dalek weaponry in a self-replicating energy blindfold matrix ?" Donna said amused with her intelligence.

"How did you work that out ? You..." The Doctor said amused, a smile spreading across his face.

"Time Lord" The New Doctor replied.

"Part Time Lord" I said with a cocky smile.

"Part Human! Oh, yes! That was a two-way biological metacrisis" Donna said, loving every moment of it. Man she's good  "Half Doctor...half Donna!" She said smiling.

"The Doctor-Donna...just like the Ood said, remember ?They saw it coming! The Doctor-Donna" The Doctor said amazed by her, Donna continues to smile.

"Holding cells deactivated," Donna said with a flew flicks of switch, the lights disappear "And seal the Vault-Well, don't just stand there, you skinny boys in suits-get to work!" Donna says, both Doctors dash to join Donna at the control panel.

"Stop them! Get them away from the controls!" The Half Dalek said. I run over to Jack and he runs to me, wrapping me in his arms.  

"And...spin" Donna said, flipping a switch. The Daleks spin in circles

"Help-me-Help-me" The Dalek say, the keep spinning making Jack chuckle.

"And...the other way!" Donna said, pressing another button and they spin the other way. Their upper and lower halves spinning in different directions.

"What did you do ?" The New Doctor asks bewildered.

"Trip-stitch circuit-breaker in the psycho-kinetic threshold manipulator" Donna said, schooling both Doctors.

"But that's brilliant!" The New Doctor says to The Doctor.

"Why did we never think of that ?" The Doctor said to The New Doctor.

"Because you two...were just Time Lords! You dumbos-Lacking that little bit of Human, that gut instinct that goes hand-in-hand with planet Earth" I said, taking Jacks hand in mine walking over to them.

"I could think of ideas that you two couldn't dream of in a million years! Ah, the universe has been waiting for me! Now...let's send that trip-stitch all over the ship-Did I ever tell you-" Donna said gesturing towards herself "Best temp in Chiswick ?" She looks moves her fingers, as if she was typing "A hundred words per minute!"

"Ha!" The New Doctor smile, the Daleks continue moving around uncontrollably.

"System malfunction--" One Dalek said.

"Motor causing interference--" Another Dalek said confused. 

Jack pulls me into the TARDIS. We grab our guns, Jack's face lights up. 

"Mickey!" Jack said happily, chucking a gun to him.

"Does everyone know everyone except me ?!" I exclaimed, looking at Jack. He nodded his head in agreement.

"Yeah basically" He said awkwardly.

"Great!" I said defeated, with a chuckle.
