Willow and I watched, The Doctor and Amelia burst into a random ladies house. They had been in there for about 10 minutes, before they came back out again.
"So ?" I asked, The Doctor had a wild look in his eye "What's happening ?"
"Well you see we only have twenty minutes" The Doctor said, looking over at Amelia.
"Twenty mintues to what ?" Willow asked confused.
"Twenty minutes to the end of the world" The Doctor replied, I let out a sigh as we walk down the middle of the road.
"What is this place ? Where are we ?" The Doctor asks, looking around at the scenery
"Leadworth" Amelia replies.
"Where's the rest of it ?" The Doctor asks confused.
"This is it" Amelia replied.
"Is there an airport ?" I ask, looking up at the sky.
"No" Amelia responded.
"A nuclear power station ?" The Doctor asked.
"No" Amelia responded again.
"Even a little one ?" I asked, looking at her hopefully.
"No" Amelia repsonded, for the final time.
"Nearest city ?" The Doctor asked, looking at her.
"Gloucester. Half an hour by car" Amelia
"We don't have half an hour. Do we have a car ?" The Doctor asks
"No" Amelia replies bluntly.
"Well, that's good. Fantastic, that is. Twenty minutes to save the world and I've got a post office. And it's shut. What is that ?" The Doctor says sarcasticly.
"It's a duck pond" Amelia replies, impatient.
"Why aren't there any ducks ?" I ask, looking over at it. Not to seeing a single ripple or bread crum.
"I don't know. There's never any ducks" Amelia says, slightly concerned as of why were talking about a duck pond.
"Then how do you know it's a duck pond ?" I ask, Amelia furrows her eyebrows.
"It just is. Is it important, the duck pond ?" Amelia asks, I look over to the Doctoe who's clutching his chest.
"I don't know. Why would I know ? This is too soon. I'm not ready, I'm not done yet" The Doctor said.
"What's happening ? Why's it going dark ?" Amelia asks, a black disc covers the sun "So what's wrong with the sun ?" She asks, pointing towards it.
"Nothing. You're looking at it through a forcefield" I replied. looking at the sun and then at Amelia.
"They've sealed off your upper atmosphere. Now they're getting ready to boil the planet. Oh, and here they come. The human race. The end comes, as it was always going to, down a video phone" The Doctor said matter of factly.
"This isn't real, is it ? This is some kind of big wind up" Amelia asks us, The Doctor and I share a look.
"Why would I wind you up ?" The Doctor asks confused.
"You told me you had a time machine" Amelia says looking at me.
"And you believed me" I said, looking at her.
"Then I grew up" Amelia said simply.
"Oh, you never want to do that. No. Hang on. Shut up. Wait. I missed it. I saw it and I missed it. What did I see ? I saw. What did I see ? I saw, I saw, I saw," The Doctor said, people all over are taking pictures of the sun except a male nurse who is taking a picture of a man and his dog. "Twenty minutes. I can do it. Twenty minutes, the planet burns. Run to your loved ones and say goodbye, or stay and help us" The Doctor said, standing up straight to look at me and then at Amelia.
"No" Amelia said quietly.
"I'm sorry ?" The Doctor asked, gobsmacked at Amelia.
"No!" Amelia said, more audibly this time.
"Amy, no, no, what are you doing ?" The Doctor said. It happend to quickly Amelia grabbed The Doctors tie, slaming it in a car door and locking the door.
"Are you out of your mind ?" I ask heatedly, rushing behind them. The Doctor tries pulling out his tie from the door. I try with him. No use.
"Who are you ?" She asks sternly, I look at The Doctor worriedly.
"You know who I am" The Doctor replies, struggling.
"No, really. Who are you ?" Amy asks, looking between both of us. I thought for a moment.
"Look at the sky" I said, pointing towards the sky.
"End of the world, twenty minutes" The Doctor says hurriedly.
"Well, better talk quickly, then" Amy says cockily, I run a hand through my hair.
"Amy, I am going to need my car back" A man says walking over to Amy's side.
"Yes, in a bit. Now go and have coffee" Amy snaps at him.
"Right, yes" He says, doing as intructed and walking away.
"Help" The Doctor says looking at me, I instantly think of what to do.
"Catch" I said, reaching in my back pocket, tossing the apple Amy gave me when she was younger.
"He's The Doctor and I'm Athena" I said nodding, The Doctor letting him continue.
"I'm a time traveller. Everything we told you twelve years ago is true. I'm real. She's real. We're real. What's happening in the sky is real, and if you don't let me go right now, everything you've ever known is over" The Doctor said, seriously as Amy looked at both of us.
"I don't believe you" Amy replied.
"Just twenty minutes. Just believe us for twenty minutes" The Doctor said.
"Look at it. Fresh as the day you gave it to me. And you know it's the same one. Amy, believe for twenty minutes" I said, Amy runs a thumb over it and unlocks the car.
"What do we do ?" She asks, clutching the apple closer.
"Stop that nurse" The Doctor replies, briskly walk over to the Nurse.
