It had been 1 week when I saw the Doctor, I've been working at Torchwood since then.

Suddenly Torchwood shook, papers flying everywhere, I gripped onto Jack's desk.

"Whoa! What happened ? Must be the rift..." Jack said.

"I have no idea should we go and check on the others" I said, he nodded viciously.

"Gwen ? Ianto ? Are you okay ?" He shouted from his office, we both ran to find Gwen and Ianto scattered amongst files on the floor.

"No broken bones...slight loss of dignity" Ianto said as I helped him up.

"Nothing's changed then ?" I said with a slight smirk.

"Yeah but...the whole city must've felt that! The whole of South Wales!" Gwen said getting to her feet, I looked over at her to see if she was okay.

"I'm gonna take a look outside..." Jack said.

"Yeah I'll go with you" I said, I sprinted out of the door with Jack as it opened.

"That's just impossible..." Jack said as we looked up at the sky.

"Oh no...but it is..." I said. I looked at him our eyes filled with worry.

I was standing next to Jack at a control panel, Ianto flicked through channels.

"The United Nations have issued an edict asking the citizens of the world not to panic...so far, there has been no explanation of the twenty-six planets which have appeared in the sky" The newsreader said before the channel changed again.

"But it's an empirical fact : the planets didn't come to us, we came to them...just look at the stars-we are in a completely different region of space...we've travelled" Richard Dawkins said, the channel changed again to the Paul O'Grady Show.

"Do you know what, I look up and there's all these moons and things-have you seen 'em ? Did you see them ?" Paul O'Grady asks as the audience shouts in response.

'Yes!'

"I thought, what was I drinking last night ? Furniture polish ?" He says, Ianto laughs at his little joke. Jack looks over at him from where we are.

"Ianto! There's a time and a place" He said in a reprimanding tone. I liked it. He gave me a cheeky wink when he said this as I gave him one back, we both smiled.

"He is funny, though" Ianto said still laughing.

"Gwen!" Jack shouted.

"Come and see this!" I said finishing his sentence, he gave me a suggestive smile "There's a time and a place Jack" I responded.

Gwen makes her way down the stairs talking to someone on her phone.

"Rhys ? I have no idea, just stay indoors...and can you phone my mother ? Tell her um...oh, I don't know, just tell her to take her pills and go to sleep" She says pausing waiting for an answer "I'm going to come home as soon as I can...I promise...I love you...You big idiot" She said with a smile as she hung up the phone.

"Someone's established an artificial atmospheric shell..." Jack said looking away from the monitor.

"...Keeping in the air and holding in the heat" I said, Jack lent against the console smiling at me again. Gwen rolled her eyes.

"Guys...stop it" She said with a small hint of comedy.

"Stop what ?" Jack asked innocently, I walked over to Ianto as he stared at his screen, looking over my shoulder as Jack was looking at me with a sly smile.
