Chapter 5: (Christina)He looked out the window, and I know he saw it before it fluttered off.
I stopped walking to look at Oliver, "What was that?" I demanded, even as my voice shook.
"What was what?" He replied calmly
"No. Do not do this to me" I screamed at him, all my calm from his room had fluttered away with the fairy thing "we both saw that faery thing in the window, do not pretend I'm crazy"
He looked at me, my face radiating terror, "we have to go find Eliot".
"Not until you explain to me what is happening" I growled between clenched teeth.
He sighed un-patiently and very non-oliverly. "Eliot will explain" I must have looked doubting because then he added "I promise you aren't crazy" I relaxed enough at this to let him lead me away and go to Eliot.
When we got back to the room Gabe and I had fought in, Gabe was sitting in a chair nose no longer bleeding. He glared at me as we walked in and I glared back, unafraid of him."Ompalooma" Said Oliver to Elliot, very seriously
"Gabe, you have to leave now" Elliot said, immediately turning to Gabe understanding some code word.
"You too, Nicolette" Oliver said
But Elliot sighed and put his hand out to stop her from leaving "No, she is going to have to hear this eventually"
"Whatever you think is best." Oliver shrugged "do you want me to leave or stay?"
"Stay" Elliot said "you are a much better teacher than me"
"But you taught me" Oliver said raising his eye brows
"Okay. Stop. I am totally confused." Nicolette said, putting her hand up in a stop gesture, speaking my thoughts "ompalooma!?"
"That's just our code word for if something like this ever happened." Elliot explained to Nicolette
"Like what happened?" I demanded, speaking for the first time since the hall way "What does this have to do with that faery thing we saw?"
"How do I start" Elliot asked himself "well, do you believe in magic?"
"Yes" Nicolette answered at the same time, only she said it with confidence while my voice was a whisper
"Good, that will make this easier. Christina, why do you believe in magic?"
"Well strange things always happened to me as a kid, things I didn't do. And..." I wasn't sure if I should say this or not but gut feeling said I should "my mother always told me as a kid 'the truth isn't always honest'"
Oliver gasped, but Elliot didn't seem surprised, "I expected that much, that is the saying of the Phil." He said, thinking that explained something "we just need to figure out if she is Nefarious or Phil and what she does to cover her powers."
"What?" Nicolette asked totally lost "who is Phil? Who is Nefarious? And Christina's mum doesn't have powers! What are you talking about?"
"You said 'mum'." Oliver pointed out
"I don't care if I say mom, mum or mam- I just want answers!" Nicolette screamed at him, now frustrated
"Calm down", Nicolette visibly relaxed at the sound of Eliot's voice and shrunk in closer to him "Phil, is short for Philanthropic. We are the 'good' guys."
"We?" Nicolette questioned, stepping closer to me at this instead of him, like she didn't know him all of a sudden
Eliot sighed, expecting that much. "Gabe, Oliver, and I are Phils. But hear me out please" he begged at the last part
