A massive wave cascaded down on me as the Cyclops was dropped into the water. The Sun was perched on the horizon, and the sky was a painting of warm colors. I wipe the ocean water from my face and huff. And I didn't put on my helmet. I'm stupid. I wipe my eyes, and open them, smiling. I take my helmet out of my inventory and put it on, then dove into the water.
"Woah! What the Hell, (Y/N)!" Mark yells from the hatch of the base, I look to him.
"Let's go exploring!" I smile. My mood was happy and glittery today. I have no idea why, but I gaze upon the white Cyclops.
"Seamoth, that's right!" I scowl at myself, and swim back to the Mobile Vehicle Bay.
I climbed into the Seamoth, and I pressed the speed pedal slightly. It was beside the Cyclops when the underside opened, and two suction cups were placed on the Seamoth, pulling it into the docking bay. A hatch opens above the Seamoth, and I climb out. I grab the handles above me and pull myself into the Cyclops.
"This is so cool!" Alex cries, his voice echoed throughout the Cyclops, along with Mark's cheerful laugh.
"Totally!" Brynn giggles, and I close the hatch for the docking bay.
"(Y/N)?" Mark calls, as I begin to lock the hatch for the docking bay.
"Yeah?" I answer as I pull up the locking lever, which clamped down the hatch. I stand, and start towards the engine room. I take a look at the power cells that came with the Cyclops; they were almost empty. I need the power cell charger from the Lifepod. I unlatch my helmet and put it aside quickly. I turn back and start to walk towards the bridge, where Alex, Brynn, and Mark were jumping around.
"Don't break my Cyclops." I roll my eyes and smile, to which the three of them stick their tongues out at me.
"Party pooper!" Alex yells, then races by me, Brynn following him, giggling. I look to Mark, who was looking around, acting stupid.
"Don't act stupid, Mark. I'll throw you overboard."
Mark looks back at me. "Am not, I wouldn't be that mean." I roll my eyes again, he smiles.
"Look, I don't think we should take Alex and Brynn with us as we explore. It's safer at the base." I say, looking him sharply in the eye. He cowers, slightly.
"But they would have so much fun-"
"It's safer at the base." I say through gritted teeth. He gulps.
"Why?"
"We have to explore before they do, incase there is something dangerous." I answer, and make strides towards the steering wheel.
Mark fell silent for a moment, then sighed. His footsteps started out of the room and echoed, as he went to find the kids. I turned on the Cyclops, which the ship spoke, "Welcome aboard, Miss Vale, Mr. Fischbach, Ms. Lolar, and Mr. Hamilton."
The Cyclops hummed again. "Mr. Fischbach, Ms. Lolar, and Mr. Hamilton have disembarked from the vessel."
