Gabriel followed Castiel into the kitchen, a pleading look in his eyes while Castiel looked anywhere but the teen, his expression obviously uncomfortable. He instead focused on pulling things out for dinner, laying tomatoes on the counter and shifting through the cupboards for a pot to boil them.

"Why should I let you stay in a house alone with Sam?" Castiel asked, a slight tint to his cheeks as he finally managed to look at Gabriel without flinching. Gabriel really couldn't blame him, though. It wasn't every day that your adopted child asked to have sex with his boyfriend in your house.

"I'm a desperate man, Cas. It could be my birthday present," Gabriel responded, no, begged, his eyes large and tried to mimic Sam's in the puppy factor. It seemed to be working a little, at least. Castiel was adverting his eyes again.

"Your birthday is in November," Castiel helpfully supplied, and Gabriel waved the semantics of that statement away.

"Early birthday present. You don't have to get me anything in November," Gabriel promised, bouncing a little in place when he saw the confliction in Castiel's eyes, "Please? I don't want to have to go to Dean about it."

Castiel let out a slight snort at that before his shoulders slumped in defeat and he sighed, putting away the pot he had just got out and returning the tomatoes to the refrigerator, "Fine, but you can make your own dinner since I have to take Dean out now," Castiel responded, pulling out his phone and beginning to call Dean as he walked into the other room. Gabriel grinned, giggling a little in excitement before he went to the pantry, pulling out a box of macaroni and cheese.

Gabriel had just finished cleaning the last of the dishes, under Castiel's harsh scrutiny, when Dean walked into the kitchen, Sam trailing behind him. The older man had a smirk on his face, and Gabriel couldn't help but blush a little and look away, feeling embarrassed for the first time today about it.

"We'll be back around eight," Castiel muttered, grabbing Dean's arm and dragging him towards the front door before he could say anything that would humiliate all of them. Sam watched them go with an arched eyebrow before finally turning to Gabriel, tipping his head.

"What happened? Dean got off the phone with Cas, and he's been laughing ever since," Sam asked, not at all convinced when Gabriel just gave him a shrug, wiping his hands off on a dishtowel before smiling.

"No idea. Come on, let's go to my room," Gabriel offered, an innocent look on his face. Despite that, Sam caught on quick to his meaning, and he flushed, looking down shyly and nodding. Gabriel walked over, grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the back of his house.
