The amount of relief that Gabriel felt when he opened his letter from the university was enormous as he stared at his acceptance letter, a smile spreading across his face. He had been extremely nervous about not getting accepted when Sam had received his acceptance letter almost a month early. Granted, Sam had got in without a single hitch, having straight A's and a high enough ACT score to get a full ride while Gabriel...well, insomnia was a bitch on your grades.

"Is that your letter?" He heard Castiel ask and he turned his head to look at the older man. His hair was wet from a shower - another slushie incident at work - and drops fell from the strands onto his shirt. Seriously, Dean needed to teach Castiel how to dry his hair properly.

"Yeah," Gabriel replied, not commenting what he was just thinking as he held the paper out to Castiel. He began grinning that it finally sank in that all his late night studying with Sam to get his GPA up had finally paid off, "I made it in!"

"That's great, Gabriel!" Castiel exclaimed, well, said in a slightly louder voice than usual, but that's what Castiel sounded like when he was happy.

"What's got you guys all excited?" Dean asked as he walked into the kitchen, his head slightly tilted as he leaned over Castiel's shoulder, studying the paper for a minute, "Finally got in? That college sure did take its damn time."

"Were you worried?" Gabriel teased, earning a blank stare from Dean in response that he took as 'shut-the-fuck-up.' Still, Gabriel didn't miss the glimmer of pride in Dean's eyes and he smirked, patting him on the shoulder, "Don't worry, Deano. I won't tell Sam you actually have a heart."

Ignoring the offended look from the older man and the slight chuckle from Castiel, he skipped towards his room, opening his window and climbing out into the small space between the two homes. He tapped on Sam's window, peering in and seeing that Sam was working at his desk. He tapped a bit harder and received a look from Sam as he finally got his attention.

"Took you long enough," Gabriel stated as soon as Sam opened his window. The older teen rolled his eyes, resting his arms on the window sills so he was eye level with Gabriel.

"What do you want, Gabe? I'm trying to finish my homework," Sam huffed, making Gabriel narrow his eyes, letting out a slight scoff.

"Well, if you're gonna be sassy, I'm not gonna tell you. I'll just call the housing office and tell them that I changed my mind," Gabriel replied, turning on his heel and heading back towards his window. He only got a step away when Sam grabbed the back of his shirt, pulling him back until he was leaning halfway through the window with his back pressed against the sill.

"What did you just say?" Sam asked, a glimmer of hope in the smile on his face. Gabriel held up the paper in his hands, letting Sam reading it over.

"I got i-mmph!" Gabriel started to say, only to be cut off by a press of lips against his. Why they had never kissed upside down before, Gabriel didn't know. It's so bizarre, but kind of amazing. Maybe he could convince Sam to dress up as Spiderman next time and they could recreate that scene.

When Sam released him from the kiss, Gabriel looked up at him, smiling at him almost coyly, "Can we have celebratory sex tonight?" Gabriel asked.

"Tell me about housing and we'll see," Sam replied instantly, rolling his eyes at Gabriel's libido.

"Oh, I called and requested we room together....surprise!" Gabriel chirped, his eyes wide and innocent as Sam looked down on him with an arched eyebrow.

"Is that even allowed?" Sam asked, finally releasing the back of Gabriel's shirt, although the smaller teen was comfortable enough that he didn't feel like moving.

"What they don't know won't hurt them," Gabriel answered, smiling when Sam shook his head at his response.

"Yeah, but it might hurt me."

"Might I remind you who the bottom is," Gabriel retorted, laughing when Sam turned bright red in the face and rolled his eyes, moving away from the window. Gabriel straightened, turning around and crossing his arms over his chest, looking at Sam with a petulant expression on his face.

"Are we having sex or not?" Gabriel managed to get out before Sam closed the window, effectively muffling Gabriel's voice. The smaller teen rolled his eyes, but he had a smile on his face as he made his way back into his room, closing the window behind him and setting his letter in a special place so he wouldn't lose or tear it. He almost didn't hear the small clink at his window, but he turned, seeing that Sam had placed a note against the plane of glass.

"Maybe we can have sex." Was all it said, but it had Gabriel grinning. He stared at the words for a minute longer before he scrambled to clean up his room. After all, it's easier to get Castiel and Dean out of the house than it was Mary, especially after the whole...studying incident.

Thinking about it now, maybe that's why Mary didn't like him that much.
