Chapter 14

Em's P.O.V.

I was just about to fall asleep when I heard a gentle knock on the door. I got up and grabbed my suitcases, my backpack, and my purse. It sounds like I packed so much but I will be there​ for three weeks! I needed to pack a lot. I walk over to the door and open it to find Carson with a bouquet of flowers. But not just and flowers my three favorite. Peony, amaryllis, and dahlia.

"Em, I-I-I know I have broken your heart multiple times but I want another chance. I don't know what is wrong with me but please I swear I will change. If you say no I'm fine with that but I will ask again. Your my everything and no don't want to loose you," he said. I didn't want to hurt him but I needed some time.

"I-I-I need some time," I stuttered. He nodded then took both my suitcases and started down the path to his moms car. I closed the door and locked it. I then followed him. He put all my stuff in the trunk with his four suitcases and his moms two suitcase then we hopped in and drove off.

Carson's P.O.V.

I can't believe she rejected me. Well she didn't exactly reject me since she said she needed some time to think about it but still. I can't believe it. My mom turned on the radio and what came on? Em's cover of Mercy by Shawn Mendes with Johnny. My mom noticed how uncomfortable we were listening to this song so she turned it off.
