Carson's Pov

Once we got back to the pack house and towards the front door the person standing at the door is someone we never expected it to be. Standing there with a smile he looked directly and Jace and smirked. "Long time no see."

Jace clinched and unclinched his fist as he glared at Darren who stood by the door with a menacing smile. Even I wanted to deck him in the face and I normally like to ask questions first where Jace is the best ass first ask questions later. What I wanted to know was what the hell he was talking about long time no see.

"Jace." Tyler said, stepping forward towards him.

"They don't know, do they?" Darren questioned still staring straight at Jace who looked seconds away from killing Darren if he didn't shut up.

"Know what?" Tyler asked, irritation evident in his voice.

When neither one said anything Tyler slammed his fist into the wall, making a huge hole, before walking in between the two. "Would someone fucking answer me." He yelled, looking at Jace.

Jace sighed. "I didn't say anything because I didn't think it was a big deal. We had left the pack years ago, I was so young I barely remember." He bit his lip and sighed. "I didn't even recognize him until I looked through my family album a few years ago."

"Family album?" I asked, stepping up. Dave and Chelsea walked out but I knew Dave was still close along with a lot of war wolves, just incase something started.

Jace closed his eyes and leaned his head back before looked back at us. "Darren may or may not be my cousin."

Tyler's eyes widened along with mine.

"Your joking." Tyler said and started laughing. "He's totally joking." Tyler was obviously in denial but I knew the truth.

"I thought he was dead so it hadn't mattered anyway. He was an asshole when we were in the pack. He was jealous I was gonna get the position of alpha even though my father wasn't alpha but his father was."

Darren stood there smirking, making me want to slap it off his face even more. If he thinks this changes anything it doesn't, but he doesn't need to know that.

"My father and his brother got into an argument, something about someone cheating. I didn't get the full story but we left after about a year after. I remember them always fighting after that day. They weren't able to get along so we left. My dad started his own pack and gained alpha powers once enough rogues had joined. My packed moved here and we've been here ever since." Jace looked at Tyler, knowing he didn't need to convince me. I was on his side either way.

Tyler closed his eyes. "Oh my god." He whispered, opening his eyes to look at Jace. "Just kill him and get it over with."

Darren chuckled. "That's actually not what I came here for." He stepped inside and shut the door, leaving the two red eyed beasts he brought with him, outside. "What I want are my two beautiful girls who decided to take off in the middle of the night. I know they came here."

Jace gave him a fake confused look. "I have no idea what you are talking about but I do know you coming here was a huge mistake." He said just before we heard him yell through the mind link to attack.

"Go make sure the women and children are safe." I told Tyler before running towards Darren, shifting into my wolf. Jace had already shifted and knocked Darren, who was in wolf form as well, out the door, taking the door with him.

As Darren and Jace fought I knocked off any of his helpers that tried to step in, ripping their throats out. Looks like he was smart enough to bring more then just the two with him.

Tyler came out about 20 minutes later and helped fend off any rogues that dared cross our path. Once it seemed they all decided to fight the war wolves we turned to Jace and Darren. Jace had Darren pinned to the ground but he didn't stay that long before he was jumping up and running off with the rest rogues.

Jace turned to Seth, a war wolf, "Don't let him get away." He told him.

Seth nodded then him and the 10 other wolves ran in the direction Darren ran.

Jace then turned to Tyler. "Go make sure everyone in the house is okay and get the kids."

I walked over to Jace, still in my wolf form. 'You sure this is a good idea?' I asked, shifting.

"This is our only chance to end it for good and I'm not letting that pass." He said then shifted and ran to the other wolves gathered around.
