Part III

Under Covers: 8

"My mother must have been a few months into her pregnancy with me. The vampires had to have had their fun around that time ago. Because I had the werewolf gene already from the Alpha, I naturally healed faster myself and my mother. The vampires noticed as they were beating her that it wasn't affecting her as much it used to. So, they stopped restraining their strength and let their vampires loose. They gave her some of their blood to heal her for a fresh start before they began episode two with full strength.

"My mother ended up dying from it, me being too weak and only a growing child in my mother's womb. She being a human, weak and fragile compared to us." I sigh a plop black onto my bed and close my eyes. The story I've memorized just flowing out of my mouth. My brain numb to the flashing images I've never seen.

"Her injuries were too sever. We died while a very generous amount of vampire blood was in our systems. When my mother awoke, she was fully healed and in transition, so they forced her to feed on Valerie.

"That's sick. We're they that bored; they seriously didn't have anything else better to with their worthless lives? Bastards." I chuckle.

"Note that this was in the seventeen-hundreds. Men could get away with a lot. Treat women however they pleased. Plus, the supernatural rules were much different both regarding time and species."

"Yeah, because the bags of testosterone believed they possessed sacks of liquid gold."

I raise a brow and give her a suggestive look. She looks back at me confused, then slowly catches on.

"Oh, gross. No, men have always been bags of snot. Women are the only ones who have truly changed throughout history. Because, we are what created history." I burst into laughter and rolls onto my stomach, caging her under me.

"You won't be saying that once I'm inside you."

She tries to hide the surprise and anticipation in her eyes as she pushes me off of her, but I saw it clear as crystal. I smirk and roll back onto my back next to her.

"So, that's how you became a hybrid and your mother a Vampire?"

I trail my finger down her arm to her hand and entwine our fingers together. Lifting up our hands, I bring them to my field of sight and turn our hands around. Bringing down our hands to my lips, I kiss the back of her hand.

"The werewolf from what I told you about before kind of caught the scent. He only raped her because every time they forced to get deadly drunk afterwards to somehow prevent a child. The second he sensed something wrong other than the fact she was pregnant with his child they threw my mother and my sister into the basement. They failed to provide anything for my mother, only giving Valerie enough food and water to keep her blood healthy. They contacted the Parliament of my mother's ware bouts giving a half assed story about them rescuing her not too long ago and that she was a vampire when she found them. Being a new born Vampire, everything is heightened and the hunger is intense. It confuses and feeds on you until you feed it. They used Valerie as bait for my mother." Realization started to hike its way up Victoria's gears turning in her mind.

"My mother had starved herself and planned to die instead of losing control, killing her own daughter. Yet, Val's heart was always so generous. Within the few weeks they were locked up. Valerie would fill the bottom of a glass with just a gulp of blood. She had to stab her with a pencil she found to help keep our mother at bay whenever she got out of control because Val wouldn't give her more blood when she thought she needed more."

"Wow, your sister is amazing." I smile a little as I turn to my side.

"I think she would have taken some keen to you."

"Some?"

"Just some. Anyway, my mother would help Val survive in return by giving her some her blood. Not only does Vampire blood heal, but it can give a human extra nutrition and aid fighting cells. By the time the Parliament came by the warehouse, I had already been born. The group handed over my mother along with us two siblings. Valerie has have been giving mother enough blood for her to keep a good amount of strength and health. Plus, after birth, my genes have passed onto her, giving her extra strength and power than a normal Vampire would unless they're a royal. She fought back with no remorse in attempt to protect us. Valerie was sixteen and I was only five, both of us born in a basement. The Parliament killed the men for lying to us while we hid away in the safe room."

"That must have been traumatizing to have to hear."

"It was. We took care of each other after that. We traveled more and made a life for ourselves. Then one day, Val asked me to turn her into a vampire. I freaked out and refused because I had no idea how to do it exactly. She didn't push me on the subject, but only explained how she wanted to live forever with me so we could be a family, always and forever no matter what."

"It took me a while to think about it then eventually I agreed." I brush my index finger down Victoria's face.

"I gave her my blood then she pierced her heart. I remember waiting for what felt like hours. When she finally woke up, she was so excited. We went out on a hunt that night. It was hunting season, so it wasn't difficult to find people alone. After she completed her transition she seemed fine. She was ecstatic and more herself than ever before. Then... A few hours later she started coughing up blood. She was a sickly grey and sweating with a fever." Victoria furrowed her brows.

"Did you ever find out what was wrong?"

I sigh and nod my head but decide not to answer.

"At the time, no, I couldn't do. We didn't have good medicine available in that era. The little we had did nothing."

"So, what'd you do," Victoria asks softly. I look into her purple-blue orbs blankly.

"I killed her."
