The bar hopping became even more disastrous as time went on. They had made the rounds of three more bars. At each, their party seemed to shrink a little, and Samia attempted to molest Silas a tad more. Now, even I can't tell you at what point the large texting girl left, but she did. Her disappearance did not concern any of the girls. Only when the boys asked where their friend had disappeared to did they respond, stating simply, "She does that."
By the time they hit the second bar, the attractive sister had become infatuated with a sizzling, well-built quarterback looking guy who was clearly in her league of attractiveness. Eventually, the two of them disappeared together.
By the third bar, the hippie girl was barely standing and had already made out with two random men. She was using a wall to stand up straight close to the rest of the group. When Silas held her arm to help her stay upright, she grabbed him by the back of his neck and told him, "I am just ready for it all," and then attempted to kiss him, nearly head-butting him in the face. Realizing she had no intention of letting him go, and with her then vile breath suffocating him, Silas had to make out with her momentarily to loosen her death grip on him. He immediately regretted it. At least his concerns about hugging a toilet bowl had been realized in part. The ugly sister came to his rescue and helped him seat the wasted flower child.
It was getting late, and the lack of any interest on the part of both the guys and girls to continue the night together was apparent, so they started to head back to the Rusty Barber, which was really close to Misha's house.
When they got there, the place had emptied out, and many more couplets had formed since they had left. Pete was slumped over the bar, half asleep, wiping water droplets on his mug with his fingertips. The hippie girl ultimately collapsed on the floor, and the ugly sister and Samia tried to keep her awake. There was also a bulky, sketchy looking guy who was trying to get in between her legs, and he too joined the four people crowded around the drunken girl. The man wasn't tall, but he was massive. He had a determined grin that showed his few remaining reptilian teeth. The bouncers weren't too happy about the commotion, and Misha, who was friends with them, decided it was time to end the night.
Misha signaled it was time to leave, and Pete mustered enough strength to raise his head from the bar and approach Silas. Silas was staring at the contents of the drink in his hand and wondered where it had come from.
Misha declared they should head back home, and so they stepped out of the Rusty Barber. The bouncers helped them carry the plastered flower child outside too. At that point, the rest of the group consisted of Samia, the ugly sister, and the hippie girl and her satellite, the Sketchy-looking-guy. The ugly sister was texting her more attractive half, letting her know where they were and where they were going...
The Sketchy-looking-guy, who had started out pushy, then became grabby, and eventually escalated to out of line. Misha was the first to notice. The hippie was too drunk to push him off, but she was clearly in distress. Misha said sternly, "Dude, no!" To this, the guy made a grunting noise in response, and yelled, "Why don't you mind your own fucking business?" Silas and Pete were a little further down the trail at this stage, so they had no idea what was going on.
It was only when his phone zapped his posterior that Silas turned to look behind him. The droplet had burned a little bit more of itself and killed some pixels in the process.
Droplet had felt the need to warn Silas to take action. Misha and the ugly sister started to get physical with the large man while Samia took the commotion as an opportunity to piss in a corner between two barrels.
The large man was shorter than Misha, but he was larger than him in bulk. With his extra weight, he pushed Misha with ease and turned toward the sister again. Misha retaliated and swung at him, grazing his temple. They were both uncoordinated, but it was obvious the guy had seen some street fighting before. After Misha's haphazard punch, he saw an opening and landed a single lucky shot in Misha's gut, winding him. Within seconds, Silas had run up to Misha. With his Spidey senses tingling, he saw the guy reach into his pocket and placed himself between the two.
