We sat down on the blanket and watched the sunset.

Me: It's beautiful isn't it?

Austin: It is. It's a perfect night too.

Me: How so? I said with a smile on my face.

Beautiful night, beautiful sunset, with a beautiful girl. Austin said with a serious look and a faint smile. He was actually serious about this.

Me: Can I tell you something?

Austin: Anything

Me: This is my first date.....ever

Austin: How? Your just amazing.

Me: yea

Austin: It's okay though, it's my first date too and I wanted it to be perfect.

Me: really? this is why you were gone all day right?

Austin: Yea it is... aaaaa are you hungry?

Me: Yea a little

He pulled out our favorite... cheese pizza... claassssyyyy (Just kidding bout the classy part but Austin did bring it cuz he knew it was her favorite) and he brought pasta salad. We ate and talked some more.

Austin had a radio set to the side and put it closer to us and stood up.

Austin: Do you wanna dance?

Me: yea sure but I suck at dancing.

Austin: Don't worry I will help you.

He turned the radio on and "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri started playing. Austin placed his hand on my hip and his other hand placed in mine. I rested my head on his shoulder as we danced until the song ended.

By that time his fingers were intertwined with mine. His other hand left my hip. He brushed my bangs behind my ear and cupped my cheek. Our gazes met and he slowly leaned in for a kiss. Our lips crashed into one another. It was the best, most romantic, long kiss. He smiled through the kiss and they left.

Austin: I- I'm sorry Steph, it's only our first date an-

I quickly kissed him again.

Austin: Never mind then.

Me: what were you gonna say?

Austin: I didn't know if you'd be okay with, ya know...

Me: The kiss? yea I was okay with that.

Austin: good... we should really get going now, it's really late.

We paced everything up and headed back to the car. It took a while to get back to the car because I kept trying to run into the water, just to annoy Austin, but he obviously didn't mind because he took off his shoes and ran in the water with me.

Finally, we made it back to Alex's house. We sat on the porch swing, looking at the stars and listening to the crickets chirp.

Austin: I'll go up and get a star for ya baby

You pic it out i'll bring it back back back back

I glad you opened up your heart for me baby

And I ain't lying it's a fact fact fact fact

Me: You really are an amazing singer.

Austin: Thank you, I don't really want to leave but I gotta get going now.

Me: Ok bye then

Austin: I'll text you

Me: Ok, i'll answer

I gave him a quick peck on the cheek and walked inside were I found Alex looking out the window with his camera.

Me: What are you doing?

Alex: Filming you guys.

Me: Why?

Alex: Memories
