Once we reached home, I started to feel sick again. "Alex can you hurry up please?"

"Well somone is cranky". "No I'm not feeling the best so if you could stop with the comments and hurry up....... please."

"Sorry..." he said. I responded, "Im sorry Alex, Im just, I dont feel good", and I was about to get sick.

Alex rushed me inside and took me to the bathroom. As soon as I got there, I instently hung my head over the toilet and just, well.... puked.

Austin went to the store to get some different medicine to help with headaches and stuff. So it was just Alex and I.

He held my hair back as I continued to get sick. "You alright?" He asked. I shook my head, no.

After I was done, Alex carried me too my room and laid me down on my bed. I was so flippen cold. He must have noticed because he pulled the covers over me to warm me up.

I was still freezing though. "Do you want my hoodie?" He asked. "No thanks." I replied and patted the spot next to me. "No, Steph I can't sorry."

"Alex, we are just friends, nothing more. Nothing is going to happen. Im sick, Im freezing and I would like to have somone to keep me warm. We are best friends. Man up" I said.

"But what if Austin gets mad?" "He wont." He finally agreed and crawled next to me and held me close. My eyelids began to feel heavy and I fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning with strong arms around my torso. I looked over and noticed it was Austin this time.

He stirred in his sleep then his eyes fluttered open. "Morning beautiful" he smiled.

"Morning handsome." I smiled back

"I have a question." he said.

"Okay, shoot"

"Why were you and Alex sleeping together?"

"It was nothing, I was honestly freezing and he was just keeping me warm."

"Okay, thats fine Im not mad."

"Really? Your not?"

"Should I be?"

"No, but thanks for not over reacting" i said. He smiled and helped me out of bed.

We made our way to the kitchen and AC was cooking breakfast. "You guys hungry?" He asked.

Austin replied, "Im starving"
Im not all that hungry so I shook my head no. Then I went over to the couch and sat down to watch tv.

Right when I sat down, my phone started ringing. Ughhhh.
"Hello?" I answered a bit annoyed.
"This is Doctor Dre again. I have called to inform you that your test results are in."
"Who is it Steph?" Austin asked. I told him that it was the doctor.
"We have terrible news. Your not pregnant." he said.
"Well thats good isnt it? I was hoping it wasnt that." I said.
"Well not exactly."
"Then whats the problem." there was a silence.
"I dont know any easy way for me to say this... but.. you ahh have lymphoma, and in case you didnt know, thats a type of cancer. I am terribly sorry Ms Reese."

I didnt know what to say. I dropped my phone and started crying.

"Babe whats wrong?" He said as he engulfed me in a hug. "talk to me whats wrong?"

I just continued to cry even harder. "Please, tell me."

I want to tell him, but I cant find the words to say it.

The doctor was still on the other line of the phone, so I picked it back up.

"Are you still there?"

"Yes I am." Dr dre answered.

"Im sorry, its hard for me to process this right now." I sniffled. "its okay ms reese. We will be calling again to set appointments for your chemo okay?" He said. "okay thanks". I said then I ended the phone call.

"Steph, please tell me whats wrong." Austin said.

"This is hard to tell you austin." it was silent. "I-I have lymphoma." Austin looked dumb founded.

"Whats that?"

"Its a type of blood cancer, my cousin died from it a long time ago"

"What?" AC said and came over to the couch.

I cant believe she has cancer. Never in a million years would I think that would happen.

I quickly hugged her again and didnt let go. I couldnt help it but cry with her.
