Chapter 10

So. I agreed to go out with Austin again, to talk about the date, the kiss, him avoiding me, I hope it works out fine.

I had 2 hours to get ready and the guy that fixes the water pipes and stuff, is fixing them right now. I don't know how long he will be though. I'm just going to go pic out my outfit.

I went into my room and picked out my new outfit. A black, grey and white shimmery pencil skirt with a thin white long sleeve shirt with patterns on the arms.

I went to go change, but before I had a chance I got a text. It was from Austin.

Austin: is it okay if I pick you up a little earlier?

Me: yea but how early?

Austin: in 10 minutes

Me: yea that's fine

Austin: okay ;)

I finished getting ready then waited on the couch in the living room. It was cold out so I didn't really want to wait on the porch this time. Yes, I know, it's Miami, it doesn't get cold. Well yea it does, it can get very cold.

I heard Austin's car door close and he walked in. "Hey you ready to go?" he said with a smile on his face. "Yea, are you telling where we're going this time?" "Nope" he always has to keep things like this a secret. It can get annoying but in a good way, it's just cute.

He walked me to his car and we drove off. We pulled into my favorite restaurant in the world... "OLIVE GARDEN!!!" oops... I accidently said that out loud and scared Austin. "Some how I knew you were gonna freak out like that." Even though we've only known each other for 2 weeks, he knows a lot about me. I know a lot about him. We have a lot in common.

It was a long time for a waitress to lead you to a table. There was a line all the way out into the parking lot. And of course, me and Austin were in the back, and I was freezing. i didn't have a jacket because i didn't think we would have to wait this long.

Austin: Hey are you okay?

Me: Yea I'm fine.

Austin: You look cold

Me: I'm fine

Austin: Are you sure? You can use my jacket if you want?

Me: Austin, I'm fine.

Austin: Really? He took his jacket off and rapped it around me. My arms were crossed so the jacket just hung from my shoulders. "Thanks" I said smiling. My thoughts went back to our first date. The way he danced, how we stared into each other's eyes... UGHHH!!! Take me back to that day!!!

It took about 45 minutes, but we finally were brought to a booth. The waitress took our orders. Austin ordered his two favorite foods, but in one. He got chicken alfredo pizza. Those are my favorites too so I ordered the same.

Austin: SO...you got suspended?

Me: yea, for 3 weeks and that douche bag Kevin got suspended for only 3 days.

Austin: WOW. That sucks. But you only have 1 week of school after that then summer vacation.

Me: I know.

Austin: Look, really need to tell you something.

Me: What is it?

Austin: Say Somethin if this is too fast. Hear me out on this. You are all I have been thinking about lately. I can't get you off my mind, after the date, the kiss, everything, I knew I wanted to be with you.

Me: Austin... are you-

Austin: Will you be my girlfriend?

It took me a while to register in my mind that he just asked me to be his girlfriend. I know the answer is a yes but I don't know how to say it. Again, my mind goes back to the date. It was amazing and-

"Yes, I will Austin." a wave of relief came over me. I had a boyfriend. My first boyfriend.

***Austin's POV***

"Say Somethin if this is too fast. Hear me out on this. You are all I have been thinking about lately. I cant get you off my mind, after the date, the kiss, everything, I knew I wanted to be with you." I said. I can't believe I'm about to ask her this.

"Austin... are you-"

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I said. What if she says no. I need her in my life, I never felt anyway about a girl before.

"Yes, I will Austin" she said as a wave of relief came over me.
