*2 months later*
STEPH'S POV
So today is my first day of chemo. I still cant belive that this is real. I just dont have any words for this.
Alex, Austin and I are all on our way to the children's hospital in Miami. It was very quiet the whole 20 minute ride there, but the low sound of the Drake album playing.
Austin was driving, I was in the passenger seat and Alex was in the back.
I noticed out of the corner of my eye that Austin kept looking over at me. So I looked back at him and he slightly smiled.
"What?" I smiled back. "Your just so beautiful" he said and I playfully hit him. He put his hand on my thigh and I put my hand on his.
We arrived at the hospital. Austin helped me out of the car and Alex grabbed my suit case. I had a suit case cause I am going to be staying here for a while. :(
We checked in and a nurse showed us the room that I would be staying in. I sat down on the bed and tried to relax.
"Ms. Reese? Your PET scan is in a half hour" a nurse said then exited the room.
"Austin?" I said. "what is it babe?" He said looking up from his phone. I started to cry. I dont like hospitals, I never have and never will. "Its okay, shhh stop crying." he said trying to comfort me.
"I dont want to be here." I cried even harder and he hugged me tighter.
"Dont worry baby girl, its going to be okay. I will be right by your side the whole way. Thick and thin. I love you more than anything and I will get anything you need okay?" "Okay" I smiled. "I love you" he smiled back. "I love you too".
The half hour passed and I had to get that scan thing done. It was kind of scary but not that bad.
***next day***
I just woke up from my first night at the hospital. Today was my first day of chemo.
"Hello ms. Reese. Nice to see you again. You have a letter from make a wish" he smiled. He handed me the envelope and I hesitate to open it.
Basically the letter is saying that I get to wish for whatever I have ever wanted.
"What is it?!?!" Austin asked. "I get to make a wish!" I replied. "but that wish already came true."
"Well what was that wish?"
"To fall in love" I smiled at Austin. "I love you too, But whats another thing you have always dreamed of?" he asked concerned.
"Welll as you know," I giggled. "I love the Dallas Cowboys"
"You gotta be kidding me. You know the dolphins are better." he argued. "Thats funny babe." I smiled.
"But I love that team and I wanna watch a game at they're stadium! You have no idea Austin." I just couldnt help but smile. I love the cowboys so much, and Dez Bryant 😏. But thats a different story.
"Is that what you wish for?"
"Yup!" "Okay, I will email them." he said. I was so excited.
*20 minutes later*
"Owwww." I cryed. I was getting pricked by needles because I was going through chemo at the moment. It hurt so damn bad! I hate needles.
After chemo, I felt extremly tired and hungry and sick and everything. Austin was hungry too so we decided to go down to the basement were the food court was.
When we arrived, I saw that there was a starbucks! "AUSTIN!!! ONWARD TO ART THOW STARBUCKS!" I yelled, earning looks from everyone. He started laughing histarically, thinking that I was joking, but I dont joke about starbucks.
We ordered our drinks and sat down at one of the little booths.
All of a sudden, I noticed a tall kind of muscular figure step out of the elevator. Then I noticed who it really was.
Holy shitaki mushrooms, ITS ANSEL FRIGGING ELGORT.
"Austin, austin, austin, austin..." I said while repeatedly tapping his shoulder. He held my arm. "yes?"
"Its an-an sel , el el el." "Spit it out!" He giggled. "ITS ANSEL ELGORT!" I said a little too loudly, making him look over.
Oh my goodness, hes coming over.
"Hi I'm Ansel" he said shaking Austins hand, then I shook his with out breaking eye contact with him, my mouth was still open. I was in awe.
"Im St-Stephanie. This is Austin." I said and Austin and Ansel giggled at me making a fool of myself.
"So what brings you here?" I asked. "well, I came for a make a wish, a little girl wanted to meet me as her wish." he answered.
"Aw thats so sweet!" I said. "Well what brings you here?" He asked.
"Uh- I was just diagnosed with lymphoma, (blood cancer) not to long ago."
"Im sorry to here that." he said. "What about you Austin?" He asked.
"Im Stephs boyfriend actually." he grinned. "WAIT! Are you Stephanie Reese and Austin Mahone? Americas cutest couple?" Ansel asked.
"Haha yea we are"
"Ohhh its so nice to meet you guys! But I better get going now, byee" he said then walked away.
Austin and I stayed a while then made our way back to the elevator. Once we stepped inside, Austin flipped out.
"THAT WAS ANSEL FRIGGING ELGORT!" He yelled.
I burst out laughing at him.
