Chrissy suddenly woke up, she thought she heard someone calling her name. She was about to open her eyes when she quickly closed them, seeing Catheline and Peter arguing.

"I can't believe her kid landed here...Can you?" Catheline asked her husband

"I don't either, this is too good or too bad for us, Should we tell her?" Peter asked back her wife

"No! She has a good image of them! The fact that they haven't tried to find her is what I find odd..." She replied to her husband

"This would be the proof we needed that Oren is using mind manipulation on Ivor and the octoling population because even if her parents were evil, you wouldn't just ignore your missing daughter!" He added, very upset

"Your right, Let's go to the council and tell them what you just said, this is more and more worrying...especially since Octavios may even be manipulating his son to manipulate the population, they just won't stop..." She said to end the conversation, disappointed over how Oren is doing things

Peter and Catheline left the house. Chrissy waited 10 mins after that to cry, thinking about her parents may be being controlled by Oren. She is shocked and upset, but as to calm down. She finally fell back asleep, crying.

She slept again until Slappy, already ready to leave, came and poked her

"Chrissy!" Slappy loudly whispered in her ears

"What do you want?" The sleeping Chrissy answered in a very slow past as Slappy was mocking it

"Wake up silly Jenny and most likely Spyke, or Tony if I should say, are waiting for us!"

Chrissy quickly jumped to stand up

"I forgot!" She stated as she was finding her balance in her legs

"It's fine, you are already dressed up so let's go!" He then told her, giggling about how quickly she got up

"And my tentacles?" Chrissy asked, breaking Slappy's laughter

"Oh...Hide them under that cap?" He told her, worrying it wouldn't work, as he went to get a purple cap from the entrance closet and gave it to her

As she placed her tentacles in the cap like Slappy suggested, her purple flower fell, but, luckily, Slappy quickly grabbed it back up before it touched the ground. He simply placed it on the top of her left ear, not saying a word. He glanced at her with a smile, happy with how it looked, and opened the entrance door

"Let's go now!" He happily claimed

In front of the already-opened door, Jenny, who has been waiting for around 15 minutes, was looking at Chrissy, shocked. Jenny is a young 16 years old inkling with a white ink color outside of battle. She turned around, now facing them, Chrissy saw her only to be surprised by them kissing deeply.

"So, Jenny here is Chrissy!" Slappy said, removing himself from in between them

Jenny was the first to advance and offered her a handshake, which Chrissy accepted, even if it felt awkward

"So you are lying to your mom about having a girlfriend?" Chrissy asked Slappy, with an evil smirk

"she doesn't need to know! Yet at least..." He answered, blushing

"Okay, we need to go to the Inkoctos outpost now, no time to waste!"

Chrissy and Slappy both nodded yes with their heads and followed Jenny in peaceful silence since it was still morning after all. Chrissy, during their walk that took around 30 minutes, observed Inkopolis, the cars, inklings walking around and laughing, and the beautiful houses. It hurt her to think that, during that time, innocent octolings were probably fighting for survival, while inklings were living a careless life. Without realizing it, the group reached a construction site, a sign in front of it said "Inkopolis High: Under construction" and, for some reason, reading it made Chrissy's heart pinch for a split second.

"Follow me, we just need to find the staircase!" Jenny told them, walking into the site with them

"What is this place?" Chrissy asked them, curious

"The Inkocling government is building a school, which the citizens of the outpost will work into! no one would think that a base would be hidden in the middle of a very populated and exposed town AND under a school as well!" Slappy answered with joy, thinking that it was a very bright idea

Chrissy and Slappy catch back up with Jenny, who is staring at a staircase going down into the ground

"Follow me guys, we're here" Jenny warned them

The 3 of them started walking down in silence, as Chrissy was impressed with the futuristic look of the entrance. As she was looking at her steps, she heard a fainting echo of what seemed to be children's laughing

"They are kids in here?!" Chrissy asked, surprised and worried about them

"This outpost is also a small town, much like the octo-domes, so yes, they are a couple of families living here"

"Wouldn't it be dangerous for the kids?" She then asked her, not understanding the logic behind this

"Well our member's children should be with them than be apart for a very long time, don't you think?" She answered her, hoping she would finally understand

"Oh okay, that makes sense I suppose" She then told her, still weird about the idea

As she said that, they reached the floor, which led to a giant metallic door that was intimidating. Jenny, like usual when coming here, went to the left of the door and slid her membership card into the electronic lock of the door, which granted her permission to enter. As she placed her card back into her wallet that was in her pocket, the metallic door slowly started to fall, giving Chrissy her first look at what would become the blossom of the flowering town of Inkoctos...
