Inkling life (1): The start of a change

Epilogue: 16 years later

"Wake up Missy!" Chrissy loudly asked her kid from the kitchen of her house

a couple of months after what Malcom did to her, Chrissy mysteriously gave birth to Missy, who shouldn't actually even exist. Chrissy saw it as a burden at first, but she slowly felt like this was a good thing for her life, as it helped her move on with the loss of her parents and everything that happened to her. Missy, just like her flower, was unbelievable yet real, the existence of Missy is, in her mind, a sign that Inkling and Octoling civilizations can coexist.

"I'm here, I have been awake since 8 am!" Missy gently answered her mother, as she sat at the kitchen counter with her, looking at the purple flower that her mom placed in a beautiful brown pot, next to a window

Missy, that day, was about to start another year in high school within the school that was built right over where her mother worked behind her back, Inkoctos dome.

During that time, Slappy, who is now the director of the school, was already in his office, thinking about Alisa, who also is in the same school as Missy, but sadly not in the same classes. After Jenny gave birth to Alisa, 16 years ago, she ran away from the hospital, or so it seems by the cameras that recorded her, and never came back. Since then, Slappy, in his off time, has been trying to find her, but also fell in love with someone else: Chrissy. At this point, he had given up on finding her to live with her again but is instead trying to find her to finally have answers on why she ran away that day. Spyke left working for the Inkling government and Cuddlefish did the same when he realized how corrupt it was. He finally decided that what he was doing wasn't helping anyone at all, but only keeping at bay a second war with the octolings, who have had their fair share of trouble already. What is to come for our friends? Don't ask me, after all, I am just the narrator...
