scotts pov

I pulled up to Mitch's house in my black Mercedes Benz around five. I was supposed to be in Arlington about two hours ago, but sadly my last flight got delayed and I couldn't have been more angry. Luckily, I had Nicole and Kirstin to back me up on the group chat. My left hand ran through my hair to fix it up to its best potiental at the moment. I had left my gel in my suitcase, so I was a bit SOL. I finally turned off the car and took a couple of breathers before getting out. I may have been like super flirty in the group chat, but I was super nervous to meet Mitch. He was like Fiona before the Ogre switch and I was just Shrek all around.

I grabbed Mitch's present and got out the car, locking it as my body gets completely out. After triple checking myself in my rearview mirror, I took my steps to the house. The nerves weren't definitely going down and it was scary. What if Mitch ended up not liking me, because pictures can get discombobulated in the World Wide Web.

Contemplating for two minutes, two of my fingers reached to the door and tapped against it. I heard an "Ow" and then an "I think I am bleeding, but I am a strong girl" in the background. The voice was high-pitched, but it had to be the most beautiful thing I had ever heard. My mind started to go over the thoughts that the person couldn't be Nicole or Kirstin, because their voice had a certain deepness that caused them to be told apart easily.

The doorknob finally twisted to the other side and made the door open. My eyes saw the most beautiful man in probably the whole world. He was saying something, but I beeped everything out. His dark brown eyes, which reminded me of swirls of chocolate, met my own and his had widened. The man had jumped up and wrapped his arms around my neck while his legs did the same around my waist. His face fell into the crook of my neck. "Daddy!"

"Princess." I hugged him tight and smiled bright. Mitch didn't hate me so far so I was actually very happy. I took my shoes off while still holding Mitch, because I knew it would be rude to trail dirt into the house. Taking a couple steps in, I held Mitch closer to me. I loved the feeling of him near me, so I wasn't going to stop holding him now.

My ears heard the sound of feet pattering and my body almost got the air knocked out of it. I, now, had six arms wrapped around me and I could only guess who it was. The two girls were talking quickly before one of them stopped and looked up at me with a wide smile. "Why didn't you say you were here on the group chat?!"

My heart fell when Kirstie asked that question. Mitch wasn't supposed to know I was in the group chat today, it was just to be a surprise. The brunette had shifted in my arms and unwrapped his legs from my waist, taking his head away from the crook of my neck to speak. "Yeah, Scotty. Why didn't you tell us you were here in the group chat?" A sharp eyebrow rose while a smirk turned his lips up. His feet hit the ground and he pulled his arms down to his chest, crossing them over it.

"Well, we are going to finish cooking-" Nicole pulled Kirstin's arm into the kitchen to get away from Mitch's wrath. I caught his eyes with mine, the mischievous glint being something I had never seen before. He took a step up to me and placed a manicured index finger against my chest, humming softly as he did so. "Can the baby ever give their daddy a punishment? I think you deserve one for lying."

My eyes widened as he took my right hand in his left, leading me up the stairs into his room. His room had walls filled with posters of models, some naked and some dressed. He had a huge walk-in closet that probably had more than a ton of clothes in it. His walls were painted a pastel pink and his bedspread was a floral type, pink being the main color so he could match his wall. There was a desk in the corner of his room, that had sheet music scattered over it and on the floor surrounding it. Mitch had noticed that my gaze was fixed on the corner, so he walked us over there. The tense mood fell into a more somber one.

"I started writing music for Pentatonix.. It is weird, because we have not even found like a record label or got everyone in order. We don't even know what instruments everybody plays. It is so exciting though, to start something with your best friends. I just want it to go well.." His right hand was laid on a piece called "Take Me Home" before he looked over at me, squeezing my hand softly. "I even wrote a song for you."

My hand let go of his and found the side of his face, while the other hand found its way to his lower back. I stared at him. I couldn't help but to engrave everything about the brunette in my mind. The way his dimples showed when he gave a wide smile, the way his eyes gleamed with happiness when he spoke about something loved, or how his lips reminded me of pink roses blooming in the spring. Mitch was absolutely breath-taking.

Mitch had leaned in to me, placing his hands on my chest as a smile took a spot on his face. "Do you like what you are seeing, daddy?" I couldn't do anything but nod and lean down to almost complete the space between our lips.

"You are beautiful.. I am probably the luckiest man on Earth, because of you. I am a little shocked on how you picked me, but at the same time, I couldn't be more blessed." I pulled a long box from my jacket pocket before opening it up, the diamonds catching the light of the sun through the windows. Mitch's gaze looked down at the diamond filled gift in my hand, his eyes getting glossy at the sight.

Pulling the necklace out of the box, I unclipped the latch and placed it around Mitch's neck. The "S" shaped diamond was shining the brightest out of the rest of them. I clipped it back together, it securing a spot against his neck. "Oh my God, Scott. It is beautiful." He threw his arms around my own neck as tears were falling down the porcelain colored cheeks, looking up at me with a grin.

"Scott, you big sweet idiot. Why haven't you kissed me yet?" The mischievous glint that was once in the brown eyes returned. I finally completed the space between both of our lips. It felt as if fireworks were exploding in the middle of my chest or as electricity was surging through my bloodstream. In all honesty, it was a feeling that I didn't want to get rid of.

I pulled away after a minute from lack of air, probably smiling the widest smile I had ever smiled. Mitch had one matching my own and I couldn't have fall in love with someone as quick as I did with Mitch. I wanted to do everything in my power to make sure he was happy and that's what I was going to do. I left a small kiss on the tip of his nose and grinned.

"Happy birthday, Princess."
