Chapter 4

*Eve's POV*

The weird shadow creature and I were somehow magically flying over the ocean for what seemed like forever. He then stopped near a big ship, like one that I have seen in my visions. He dropped me into the water next to it. I never learned how to swim so i just started screaming and kicking. Water was entering my mouth, gagging me. I heard someone yell, "Man overboard!"

A rope was thrown into the water near me. I grabbed it and tied it around my waist. I was being pulled up the side of the ship and then was helped onto the deck. I collasped from exhaustion and coughed up a lot of water.

I heard murmurs around me like "Who is that?" and "It's a young girl".

I heard a man with an interesting accent say, "Are you ok, lass?"

I coughed out the last bit of water.

"I think so..." I said.

"Here, let me help you up."

I looked up and there was a hook in my face. I gasped.

Everyone chuckled quietly.

"Its ok, you can say it."

"Woah, um...you have a hook for a-." I said.

"I know, long story. But you can call me many things.... like Hook, Captain, or Killian. But I prefer Hook. "

I nodded and grabbed onto his Hook. He pulled me up onto my feet. I just realised that I was freezing. I think Hook noticed too.

"Someone grab a blanket and heat up some water for a bath. The poor thing is freezing to death." He ordered his men.

"Thanks Hook."

"No problem." He said with a small smile.

One of his men came over and handed me a blanket. I wrapped it around me tightly.

"Say lass, I didn't catch your name." He said, squatting, so that he was my level.

"Eve, my name is Eve."

"Well, Eve, in case you were wondering, that black thing that brought you here is my shadow. His job is to recruit new crew members for my ship."

Ohh so that's what it was.

"Oh I see..." I said.

"So shall I show you where you will be sleeping?" He stood up, holding out his hook.

I nodded and took it.

He walked me over to the opposite side of the ship to a small room. It didn't look like a bedroom.

"This is where you can sleep for the night. I know it doesn't look very cozy but I figured that you being a girl didn't want to sleep in a big room with all of those big scary men." he chuckled.

"No, this is perfect. Thank you." I said.

"Well, I will let you be. Welcome aboard the Jolly Roger."

*Jackie's POV*

I got up at a normal time and was going to go talk to Eve. I felt like we all were overreacting at what happened the day before. I walked to her tent, hesistant about whether to open the door or not.

I slowly opened the door, quitely whispering her name.

"Eve? Hey honey, I just wanted to -"

I froze and looked around her trashed room. Her blankets were everywhere and her posters were torn off the wall. She wasn't anywhere to be seen.

"PETER!!!!" I said screaming in a blood curdling tone.

He ran into the tent out of breath.

"What? What's wron-" He looked around.

I turn and buried my face into him.

"She's gone" I started crying.

"Sh sh..... maybe she is just somewhere off on the island. Let's go look now."

We ran out and split up. I flew over the north side and he flew over the south side. I scanned the trees, not spotting her anywhere. I was really starting to panic.  I scanned my area about 5 times, shouting her name as much as I could until my voice gave out.

I returned back to camp, landing on the ground sobbing.

I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up at Peter, he looked 18 again.

"Oh Peter!" I clung onto him crying.

"Its ok Jackie. We will find her no matter what."

Eventually I stopped crying and pulled myself out of Peter's embrace.

"So what are we going to do?" I asked while wiping my face.

"We are going to sit and wait. She is probably somewhere hiding on the island and will come back after awhile. So all we can do for now is wait."

I nodded and took his hand.

"I'm scared Peter..."

"Me too..... me too..."
