Anna’s Point of View
It’s been a week since me and Niall went out on a date. Of course we had to sneak out. Harry knew that I rejected Niall’s offer.
What Harry doesn’t know won’t hurt him, right?
Here we were, hanging out in Niall’s and Zayn’s hotel room. Last night was the AMAs. I didn’t go. Award shows weren’t my thing. Speeches… awards… celebrities… the massive crowd… I think I’ll pass up on that.
“Hey, princess.” I looked up from my phone to a pair of blue eyes.
“What’s up, Niall?” I said, locking my phone and tossing it to the other side of the couch.
“Umm… I’m grabbing some Nandos tonight with Zayn and Lou… You up for it?” He faintly said.
And this is where the sucky part comes in. The date was great but… it didn’t really click between me and Niall the way that I hoped that it would be. And how did we know that? Well, a few months back me and Niall have been talking about ‘sparks’ when kissing. You know… the fireworks… the tingles down your whole body… how your knees could go weak… it makes you go dizzy but it’s the good kind of dizzy… and the epic spark of all sparks, your right foot rises up like in that movie, The Princess Diaries. When that comes I’ll finally know he’s the one. Me and Niall will know he’s the one, except Niall’s indicator is that he’d jump back from the kiss and shiver. Weird but that’s how he feels.
“Cool. Getting quite hungry myself.” I smiled and looked back at the magazine I grabbed from the coffee table.
“Anna?” I suddenly felt his breath on my cheek.
“Yeah?” I turned my head to Niall, not expecting see Niall’s face inches from mine.
“Harry’s looking. Want to play him?” I just began to giggle.
“You know, Mr. Horan, he’s going to beat the cheese out of you if you don’t pull away sooner.” Both of us began to laugh as he pulled away and dropped on to my lap.
“You’re quite heavy there don’t you think?” I wiggled my knees, attempting to get him off of me.
“You love me, anyway.” He said, making a face.
“I do. You caught me.” I raised my hands up in surrender. “But seriously get off me before my legs get crushed.”
Niall chuckled as he stood up and raised both my legs before sitting down again and placing my legs on his lap.
You see, moments like this should be awkward if you both went on a date but didn’t end up actually ‘dating’. It was awkward, the next day we hung out but we talked it through. Remembering that Niall and I just sat on the stage before their show and had the talk, ending it with a hug and things got back to normal, better and normal.
“So, Niall, how did your date go with Anna last week that you both totally hid from me?” Me and Niall’s attention quickly shifted to Harry. He was taking in deep breaths and he sent both of us one of his scariest glares, leaving the both of us gobsmacked.
“Yeah. I knew.” I gulped as he continued. “Why didn’t you tell me this, Anna? You used to tell me everything.”
That kind of ticked me off, “Oh I’m not the only one keeping things around here.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” He said, standing up from his seat. I thought he was gonna charge after me or Niall or something but he kept his stand and instead clenched his fists until his knuckles turned white. Louis, in just one swift, was by his side standing by just in case Harry made a run for us.
