CHAPTER TEN

Harry's Point of View

Here I am... at our flat's rooftop... with the lads...

"What the hell happened this time, Harry?" Louis was balancing himself at the tip of the roof.

"Nothing. Can't a lad be mad about something so stupid?" I said, ruffling my hair making the curls fall down onto my face.

"Just tell us what happened, lad." I turned to Zayn who was surprisingly giving me a glare.

"Alright!" I groaned. "She told me she was happy for me and Kendall!"

"What? Lad, you and Kendall are just hooking up. How could she possibly be happy for you?" Liam was far behind from us, which was near the entrance to the flat.

"She thinks that I'm going on another date with her." Saying it aloud made me realize what I just said was just absolutely stupid.

"That is just... a lie." Niall suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

"Then what was that sound we heard?" Zayn's face was softer than it was moments ago.

"I threw a water bottle." I didn't let my eyes go away from Zayn. I saw his jaw clench and his hand turn to fists.

"Did it hit her?" Zayn was obviously controlling his calm state.

"I almost did." I sighed remembering that I almost hit her face with it.

"I have to go check on her." Zayn stood up quickly, almost losing his balance in the process.

All of us watched Zayn walk away and down, back to the flat.

I was about to follow him when Liam pulled me down, "Chill, mate. Zayn is as close with Anna as you are with her. He's just worried about her."

"But that doesn't give him the right to storm out at us and talk to her." I said, taking a seat once again.

"Mate, do you realize how clingy and possessive you sound right now." Louis chuckled.

"It's called 'protecting', if you haven't heard of it yet." I rolled my eyes as I defended myself.

Anna's Point of View

He does not like me. He couldn't. I mean... he is in love with Kendall now, isn't he? It's just ridiculous to think that. I don't have that kind of feelings for him, that's for sure. I never did. My feelings towards Harry were always in that brotherly, best friend-y manner. It never, not even once, came to the point liking him in a... romantic, boyfriend-y manner.

No.

It just can't.

No.

It's not-

"Anna?" I looked up from my fidgeting hands to see Zayn leaning on my bedroom's doorframe.

"Zaynooo. What's up?" I smiled as I sat up properly.

Zayn stood up straight and walked up to me, stopping at the edge of my bed, "Are you alright? Did Harry hurt you?"

"I am. Everything's good with me." I grabbed a pillow and hugged it.

If all of you were wondering where the girls were... they went off to the mall without me for their day of pampering. Of course it took a good hour and a half of convincing to come with them.

"Harry told me he almost hit you earlier." He sighed.

"It kind of freaked out, really. That's actually the first time I witnessed Harry throw things. He's not the type of guy to do that." I shrugged.
