チャプター14 (Chapter 14. Kaito's point of view.)

I woke up in my room. I could barely feel my left side. I was dizzy and in pain. My vision was blurry at first but then it began to clear up. I slowly sat up and saw that my side had been stitched up. "At least I'm better." I thought to myself. I stood up and slowly walked into the living room. I looked at everyone sitting on the couch. Miku was the first one to look over at me. She smiled. "Kaito!!!!" Miku shouted as she ran to me and hugged me. "I thought you would never wake up. Don't do that ever again. You hear me?" Miku said as she started to cry again.

"Miku...I'm not going anywhere. I told you that I would never leave you." I said with a smile. "But....I love you so much Kaito." Miku said. I kissed her and held her tight. "I love you too my princess Miku." I said. She smiled and everyone came to say hello to me. "Thank god you are awake. How do you feel?" Rin asked me. "I feel better. Thanks for helping me Rin." I said. She looked at me and blushed. "N-no problem." Rin said. "Hey Len. What did I miss while I was out?" I asked. "Nothing much. We took Luka and locker her up. She won't be harming anyone anymore." Len said. "Speaking of which how long was I out?" I asked. "You were out for about a month or so. Your wound was really bad. It was gonna take you a while to recover." Gakupo Said. "Jesus Christ! That long?!" I said in shock. "Miku insisted that she wouldn't leave your side and that she would take care of you." Gumi said. I took a sniff out of the air and smelt something foul. "Man, I stink. I'm gonna take a shower." I said. Everyone laughed. I grabbed a new pair of clothes and took my shower.

Fifteen minutes later I was fresh and a new man. My hair was clean, I smelt good, and I was ready for anything. I went into the living room and Miku brought me a plate. "Hope you're hungry!" Miku said with a smile. She had sushi on the plate along with a rice cake and a spring onion. It all looked delicious. I took the plate, sat down and ate my heart out. In five minutes my plate was empty. It was filling. I let out a loud burp and relaxed. Miku sat next to me. "Well now that Luka is far away and out of our hair what do you wanna do?" Miku asked. I looked up and thought to myself. "Why not come up with a song. Everyone is here so we can do it together as a group." I said. "Not just as a group. But as a family." Miku said.

I looked around and saw that everyone was crowded around me and Miku. "Yeah. As a vocaloid family." I said. "Once a Vocaloid always a vocaloid!" Rin and Len said. "Were gonna be with you all the way to the end." Gumi asked. "And no matter what happens we will always be there for you in the long run." Gakupo said. "Always and forever." Miku said. I brushed her hair back and kissed her. "Well then. If that's the case then let's go and hang out in Vocatown." I said. Everyone nodded and we all got our things and walked to the center of town. We decided that we were gonna go shoping and catch a movie. We went to a clothing shop first and the girls went in an brought out about fifteen bags each.

"Umm....do you expect us to carry all of these?" I asked. The girls nodded and passed us the bags. "If we are going to the movies then we need to drop off all these bags." Len said. We agreed and went back home to drop off the bags. "Hey Kaito. Isn't this your phone?" Miku asked. She picked it up and it had a hole in it. "Yeah. That blade must have gotten to it." I said. "Oh well. You can just get a new one." Miku said. I smiled and nodded. We left the house and went to the movies. Since we had to carry all of the girls bags the guys got to decide what to watch. We went to see a scary movie. The girls didn't want to go but they had to. "Do I have to go?" Rin asked. "Shouldn't have made us carry all the bags." Len said. We went into the movie theater and sat down. Miku wouldn't let go of my hand at all. She watched the movie....somewhat. Half the time she had her face in my chest, trying not to look at the movie. She would peek every now and then but other than that she lived. The movie ended and we all decided that we were gonna go and eat dinner.

"So where are we eating tonight Kaito?" Gumi asked. "We're going to the Golden Lotus for dinner." I said. Everyone smiled and cheered. They have never been there before. It would be their fist time going. We went in and sat down and had dinner. "Hey Miku. I forgot to ask. How did you beat your clone?" I asked. "Yeah I'm curious too!" Gumi said. "I cut her head off. Simple." Miku said. We all laughed. "Hey. Did anyone do anything to me while I was asleep?" I asked. "Why don't you ask Rin over here." Gakupo said. She started to blush.

"I didn't do anything!!" Rin said. "Don't lie sis. We know you kissed Kaito." Len said. "What?!?!" I shouted. Everyone laughed. "We're just messing around Kaito. She wouldn't do that. Maybe to Gakupo but not you." Len said. Rin hit him in the arm. "Baka!!!" Rin shouted. We all laughed again and finished up on eating. Len and Gakupo were fighting over the check. I payed it off while they were arguing. We left and headed home. "That was fun but now I'm off to bed. Me and Gumi are gonna go somewhere tomorrow." Gakupo said. "Ok then. Me and Miku are off to bed as well." I said. Miku held my hand.

"Well ok then. See you tomorrow you two." Rin and Len said. We all went to different rooms and got into bed. "Hey Kaito?" Miku said. I turned over. "Yeah Miku" I said. "Do you mind if....I see your scar?" Miku asked me. I lifted up my shirt and showed Miku my stitched up side. She placed her hand on it and moved down along the stitch. "I'm sorry that it happened to you." Miku said. "Don't be. I saved you from dying. I'm still alive and so are you." I said. "Well....if that's the case....can we have another moment? Like at the hotel?" Miku asked. "Let's do it tomorrow." I said. She brushed up closer to me. "Yeah. I'm tired. Let's do it tomorrow. I love you Kaito." Miku said. She kissed me softly. "I love you too Miku." I said. I kissed her back and she curled up against me and went to sleep.

(Gakupo's Point of View)

I decided that when everyone went to bed that I would sneak out of the house to go see Luka one last time. I grabbed the car keys and headed out to the detention center. On the way there all I could think about was how she was gonna react to when I showed up. I got there and went to the front desk. There wasn't much inside. Just a few benches to sit on and a glass window with a man on the other side of it. "I'm here to visit Luka." I said. He pointed down the hall to an officer ready to escort me to Lukas cell. The gate opened and we began to walk.

Her cage was a long way down the hall. We got to a metal door and I began to hear laughter. It was Luka. "I'll be out here. Knock on the door when you're ready to come out." The officer said. I nodded and he pressed a button to open the door. It opened inward and I saw Luka in a chair with her head down. I walked in and stood in front of her. "So you came my love. Tell me I look pretty." Luka said. She actually looked horrible. Her hair was everywhere and her skirt was torn. Along with part of her shirt.

"You know good and well why I'm here." I said. "Yes I do. You came for my offer." Luka said. An evil smile came along her face. "Just tell me what I need to do." I said. She looked at me. She still had the cut on her cheek from the last time we fought. "It's just like I told you. Get me some of Miku's DNA and you can finally move out of that hole you call a home." Luka said. "Stop messing around. That's not what I came for. It's easy to get her DNA but I'm here for the real reward." I said. Her smile turned into a frown.

"You know that doing this would mean--"

"Murder in the fifth degree, treason, and total betrail, including the fact that I would be going against the Vocaloid code? Yeah I know what the stakes are. I just want the reward in return." I said cutting her off. She smiled once again. "Ah I see. You aren't just in it for the money reward. You want me and my pleasure as well. Don't worry. I'll make sure that you are rewarded. Just get me out of all of this and we can get started." Luka said with an evil smile. I walked up to her and kissed her. While doing so I slightly cut her chains with my blade.

"I'll handle the guards. I'll give you the signal. Then you break the chains." I said. "Ok baby. I love you." Luka said. I smiled. "I love you too." I said. I walked out and the door shut behind me. I heard Luka laughing as I walked away. At the last moment I pulled out my blade and stabbed the first guard in the stomach. He fell to the ground and I ran to the front entrance, destroying all the cameras along the way. I opened the gate and threw a kunai at the guard at the window. They say that the glass was supposed to be bullet proof, but nothing can stop my knives. I destroyed the last camera and went back to Lukas cell. I knocked on the door and Luka broke her chains. I opened the door as she walked out.

"Thank you so much baby. Take me home and I'll give you some of your reward." Luka said with a devilish smile. "With pleasure." I said. We walked out and went to Lukas hideout where, just like last time, they were working on Hatzune Miku. Luka called it the Mark II. Either way, she guaranteed it's success. It was better in figure and singing, but mainly combat. It's like she new that there would be another fight again. I knew as well. "Come to my room Gakupo. Come and reciev you're gift." Luka said as she walked to her room. I followed but felt bad at the same time. I was gonna commit the worlds most evil crime. But it was all worth it in the long run.
