Chapter - 19

I screamed to the loudest of my lungs and was just about to faint, when I saw the clothes. They were Anna's! God damn! What am I seeing?

My head was aching really bad, but I had to see the face!
Somehow I boosted up myself and hoping it not to be Anna, I moved the torch to the dead body's face.
Oh god! It was all decomposed. Almost of her body too.
However, I knew it was Anna by her dress and boots.
To my horror, even her phone was beside her.
I immediately took her phone and meanwhile, Jessy, Mom and Dad came along with Uncle and Aunt.
I felt like my life was saved after looking at them.
But I didn't want to tell them it's Anna coz I really dint want them to get into that freaking mystery.

"There's... There's something Uncle!" I told him.

"Okay, wait. Let me check. Bruno, come aside." He took Bruno into his arms and shouted at once, "Oh god! What's this? How's it here?!"

He then told mom and dad about the corpse that was almost decomposed.
I took away Jessy from there and was talking about the apple garden.

"Elsa, what did you see there? Why did you and Uncle scream?" She asked me in a frightened tone.

"Nothing baby, just a dead cat", I lied to her coz she's too small to know all this.

"Oh Elsa. These days I'm seeing you're easily getting scared, even for smaller things."

"Yeah! May be. Just that I'm not well honey. Come let's go back. I wanna rest."
"And yeah, where did you find those spects? "

"Oh they? They were lying on the ground crying and begged me to take them with me!"

"Oh! I see. And what did mom teach us, Jessy? Anything that belongs to others shouldn't be taken. Isn't it? "

"Yeah, Elsa. But mom also taught us to love someone, who's abandoned. Right ?"

"Smart answer. If you're not gonna give those spects to me, I'm returning Bruno to uncle."

"Fine, take them. But that's so mean of you Elsa. You could tell dad and he'd get you a new pair."

"Sorry sweetie. It's not for me, but I'm going to drop them here itself."

Meanwhile, Uncle had called servants to clean up the garage.
I went closer to him and told, "Uncle, but that would be good if we could call CID. So that we'd know who dared to commit such a brutal act. She's a young girl, just of my age."

"I think Elsa is right. Moreover it's in our place. So we'll have to lodge a complaint with the police", said Aunt.

"Comeon Elsa, get Bruno and Jessy out. We're starting back home within sometime", mom and dad told.

We were actually to stay here for the complete day. But the garage has saddened everyone.
Uncle and Aunt felt bad, as we couldn't spend much time with them.
I went close and comforted them, "I promise. The next Sunday, I'm gonna come here and spend the complete day with you."

They gave me a hug and kissed Jessy. We all bid a goodbye to them, after they held Bruno in their arms, kissed him and then gave back to us.
