The Mansion You Fantasied

Chapter - 24

"Hey Valentino, let's go to Anna's house. We could get some clue after the death of that girl in disguise. What do you say?" I asked him.

"Anna's house? But... But I'm scared to there again. Anyways that's okay, let's go", he told.

So there were we, at Anna's house.
Everything was normal there, as if nothing happened.

"But you told me, you saw that girl dead here, the day before yesterday ?" He asked me.

"Yes, I did! Trust me."

Suddenly we heard a voice interrupting, "Hey kids! Oh you're my Anna's friends, right?
Hey Anna, look who came for you!"

"Elsa, this isn't good. You asked me to leave the school today, just to fool me?" Valentino was agitated.

"But what happened? Why are you talking so?" I asked in confusion.

"What happened? Can't you see that girl in Anna's disguise, alive?" he whispered.

"But where? Valentino, please stop joking okay. I'm freaking out. As it is I'm scared. Please don't add."

"Enough of your pranks, Elsa. I'm leaving, bye!" and he left, leaving me all alone.

It took me 2 minutes to realize that he actually left.
But why couldn't I see Granny or that girl, when Valentino could?

"I already told you, Elsa! Not to tell anyone about it", a voice again surrounded. I couldn't see anyone though.

"Granny, is that you?" I asked.

"Her granny is dead and so is she!" in a man's loud voice.

And then I could hear him laughing.

"Want to know the truth ?" the voice asked.

"Yeah! Please! For God's sake."

"There's no god. I'm the god. Shantanu is the god."

"Shantanu? Who's he now?"

"Walk straight from here and then, take a left. Stop there and tell these words,
'Shantanu, O lord!
Please give me the permission to enter your Mansion.'
Repeat thrice and you'll be allowed to enter."

"And what if I don't do that?" I asked.

"You keep reminding me that you wanna live lonely, Miss. Smith." And an evil laugh.

"No! No! Please. Don't do that. I'll go. I'm going!" I told in fear, as I understood what he intended. He'd again kill someone who's dearest and close to me, just like Ruby and Anna.
At once, Jessy flashed my mind.

"No!" I screamed and ran as quick as I could.
I followed his directions and where they led me was that Mansion, which was Ruby's Fantasy and she fancied it.
She always loved to own one of that kind. And if possible, that one itself!
