Chapter - 22

"If I wasn't the one who turned off the lights in their rooms, then who was it? " I kept asking myself.

And I heard the sound of some metal thing being dropped on the floor.
But dad told that he had mistakenly thrown a toy of Jessy's.
Had it been a toy why would the sound be like that of metal?

Again and again I kept looking at Anna's phone, as I was badly scared.

I could hear it was raining out and there were hell lot of thunders.
Those loud frightening thunders were scaring me.

I got up to keep Anna's phone away from me and freaked out when there was a huge cloud burst.
It caused my room's windows to vibrate.
And there Bruno was barking in the hall.
At once I felt there was someone near my closet. But when I dared to look back, there wasn't anyone.

I woke up the next morning, when I heard Jessy crying.
Immediately ran to her room and asked, "What happened Jessy? Why are you crying ?"

Mom replied, "She isn't allowing the doctor to give her an injection, Elsa."

"Injection ? But why mom? What happened to my heart?" I asked with a big question mark.

"She has high fever Elsa and isn't eating anything. She could faint if she doesn't take this intake."

"Doctor, no please. I'll feed her and I'm sure she will... wait I'll get some flakes" I had no idea as to what I was talking. But I couldn't see her crying.

"She needs an injection Elsa, otherwise she'd faint. It's upto you, if you want her to!"

"No! No! Never at all! God forbid. But please be gentle."

I couldn't see her in pain and so, went into the backyard.
I was waiting for it to get over and meanwhile, my sight fell on Ruby's house.

I saw a man coming out of their house.
His T-shirt had 'Skyline Courier Services' written on the back.

A courier? But they aren't at home!

I went out and asked him, "Excuse me, is there any courier ?"

"Yes ma'am. I have delivered it."

"Delivered? To whom? You're talking about this house right?"

"Yes ma'am. Miss. Russels has has taken the delivery."

"What? Come again please", I couldn't believe what I heard.
Ruby is the only Miss. Russells, whose dead.

"May be this guy is lying to me" I thought.

He showed me the signature of the receiver, which had the name
'Anna Russells'.

I nodded and he left.
Anna Russells??? How???
Anna Moses or Ruby Russells???

I was confused and scared too, as both were dead!
