The Mansion You Fantasied

Chapter - 47

At 9.30pm:

All the arrangements for our smart plan were made at Aunt Jones house and she was all set to play her role.

Right at 9.40pm, Aunt Jones pretended as if she hung herself and in that process, she accidentally hit an iron rod and started bleeding.

As soon as the alarm rang at 9.45pm, Granny and I placed the Ouija Board and asked, "Is anyone spirit here?"

The crystal moved to 'yes', as expected.

"What's your name?" Granny asked.

"Agnes Harrison" the alphabet read.

"Do you hate Shantanu Russells and want a revenge?"

"He was just a mediator for my sons.
Hence, my haters are the actual murderers!"

"It was Shantanu Russells, who brainwashed your sons and ultimately made them kill you, Agnes. He pursuaded them", Granny lied, so that Queen Agnes would agree to help us.

"I'm not going to leave him!" The alphabet read.

"We'd help you in return, if you help us."

"How can I help you?"

"Just give me the death timing of Shantanu Russells and leave the rest to me. Since you're dead and now under his custody, I don't think you could do it!
A human, who's alive will do it all!"

The crystal moved to the numbers "10.50 pm"

"Oh god! We're only left with a minute for 10.50.
And his spirit would probably be at the Mansion.
This plan is gonna fail for sure!" I told myself.

Immediately, Granny placed the crystal on 'end' and asked me to hurry up.

We went to our home and Granny placed the Ouija Board in our garden.
She asked, "Is any spirit here?"

The crystal didn't move.

I knew it wouldn't! As Shantanu would be in the Mansion at the time of his death.

Within a few seconds, Aunt Jones killed her husband, Uncle Patrick right in front of us and he was dead.

I wanted to rush to him, but Granny held my hand and gestured not to leave.

She asked again, "Any spirit here?"

And the crystal moved to 'yes'.

"Shantanu, is that you?" She asked.

The answer was 'yes'.

Granny immediately placed the crystal on 'end' and rushed in, to see dad.
As expected, he was possessed by Shantanu and the holy chain lay on the ground, broken.

Uncle Joseph and the two Church Fathers hurried and tied dad to the bed.

I couldn't understand a bit of what I was seeing!
I was completely confused as to why Granny moved the crystal to 'end' and how did Uncle Joseph and the two Church Fathers immediately come in.

Most important than all, I was bewildered as to why Aunt Jones killed Uncle Patrick.
