Forsaken By My Destiny

Chapter 3

It was finally lunch, I was debating weather or not I should just spend my lunch in the library but they don't allow food in there. As soon as I sat down my brother and his friends swarmed the table.

"Nya~ Hello Darcus I'm Angela, so how do you like the school so far? You thinking about joining any clubs?" Angela asked. She was a young looking girl with purple-pinkish hair and cat ears.

"I think this school is just like any other high school. I might join a club but I'm not sure." I pondered about whether or not I wanted to join any clubs. I didn't really like the idea of staying after school longer than I needed to be here but it's not like I'm doing anything at home either.

"Well there's the Gaming Club, Anime Club, Occult Club, Robotics Club, Art Club, clubs for basically all the sports. I'm in the Anime Club so you should join it!" Angela enthusiastically explained.

'Well, The Gaming Club certainly sounds interesting. Maybe they enter in gaming tournaments or competitions. Everyone likes anime since it's been growing in popularity so that'd be interesting but being stuck in a club with a bunch of weebs is unappealing. Occult Club sounds strange, do they do demon summonings at school or something? Robotics is full of a bunch of nerds and art has never caught my interest and I don't play any sports.'

Caught up in my thoughts, lunch was soon over. I might look into clubs someday.
